Reiki quickly packed the potions and money into scrolls and handed them to Sara.
"Let's go. Since this is Rouran Kingdom's issue, it would be best for you, Queen Sara, to be directly involved," Reiki said. "Besides, I'm not very familiar with your country. If there are any people you think you can influence, speak to them and get them to leave first. If anyone isn't convinced, I'll deal with them personally."
With that, Reiki stepped outside, ready for what was to come. His primary objectives were complete; now, it was just a matter of waiting for Minato to finish his mission. Once An Lushanzan was taken care of, he could move on to other plans.
Sara, still reeling from everything, followed him out in a daze.
"What are you doing!?" Reiki looked at four figures attempting to listen in on their conversation.
"Uh...nothing, we were just—"
"Don't bother lying. I already know," Reiki interrupted. "It's done. The deal is sealed. Now, we proceed with the mission. Minato's signal isn't important anymore; trouble is coming." He gestured to the horizon.
Puppets began to appear in the buildings, moving along tracks. A swarm of Rouran guards approached, signaling that An Lushanzan had discovered them.
Three massive puppets came into view, firing countless senbon in their direction. Rouran's current strategy assumed Sara was a sacrifice, and if she were killed, Konoha ninjas would be framed as the murderers. This would turn the people of Rouran against Reiki and his allies.
The sound of metal rang out as Kakashi stepped forward, drawing his short sword to shield everyone. He blocked the storm of senbon, but the effort made his hands tremble.
"The force is strong. If this continues, I can only block half," Kakashi admitted, his voice strained.
"No, you'll block them all," Reiki said confidently. "I don't let my teammates get hurt." He placed a hand on Kakashi's shoulder, healing him quickly.
"Now, there's no need to protect Sara. Let's take the fight to them. The best way to deal with puppet masters is to cut their chakra strings or destroy the puppets directly. Let's go!"
Reiki charged ahead, creating dozens of shadow clones that spread out. Using the power of his technique, he controlled the clones, teleporting them right next to the puppet masters. The sudden attack caught them off guard, and within moments, several puppet masters were incapacitated.
Despite wielding powerful puppets, they were no match for Reiki's strategic strikes.
"Be careful! Not all these puppets are controlled by puppet masters. Some are remotely managed by An Lushanzan using special energy. Your job is to destroy the puppets," Reiki advised. "These puppets are mostly made of metal—perfect for practicing sword skills!"
He held up a short sword, infused with chakra, lightning dancing across its edge. With a transformation to fire attributes, the blade glowed red and flames flickered along it. "Whoever destroys the most puppets gets this sword."
"Obito, I'm getting that sword!" Kakashi declared as he dashed forward.
"We'll see about that!" Obito called, releasing a Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu that took out several tracks and caused puppets to topple over.
"I'm joining too!" Naruto shouted, ready to follow.
"Wait!" Reiki's voice stopped him in his tracks. Naruto, halfway out, felt frustrated.
"Teacher Reiki…"
"You're staying here. I need to ask you something."
"Can't it wait? I want to fight first!" Naruto's impatience flared. He knew Reiki's capabilities—strategist, fighter, and medic—so why the questions now? His excitement to join Kakashi and Obito grew as they continued their fierce battle, each taking down puppets skillfully.
"Isn't this place in your world known as the ruins of Rouran?" Reiki asked, his tone serious.
Naruto's eyes widened, and Sara's expression mirrored his shock.
"Yes," Naruto said, his voice urgent. "It's already a ruin. We stumbled upon it chasing a rogue ninja from Sunagakure. It wasn't until we arrived that we realized this place was also called Rouran."
"Another Rouran?" Sara echoed, her confusion deepening.
"Yes, and it's in the Land of Fire," Naruto confirmed.
