Chapter 329 - **Chapter 329: Special Training for Kakashi, Obito, and Rin!**

After hearing Reiki's explanation, Kakashi frowned, processing the information. "Reiki, why were we chosen for this mission? The details you shared make it clear that this mission isn't within our current capabilities."

Reiki met Kakashi's questioning gaze with a smile. "Kakashi, you're right. This mission is beyond your current strength. Your participation will make it more challenging."

Kakashi's eyes widened, and he stood up abruptly. "Reiki, this isn't a game. Missions are dangerous. Why would Hokage-sama assign us to something so risky?"

Obito looked down, a shadow of doubt crossing his face. The initial excitement about the mission dulled. None of them wanted to be the weak link that endangered their teacher or teammates.

Rin broke the silence, looking at Reiki with hopeful eyes. "Brother Reiki, you called us here for a reason, didn't you? You have a plan, right?"

Kakashi, still simmering with frustration, turned to Reiki, realizing she was right. If Reiki knew they were being sent on this mission, he must have prepared something.

Reiki nodded, a smirk appearing. "Yes, I've made preparations. We have about three days before Brother Minato finalizes the mission. In these three days, we're going to train in a way that prepares you for the type of enemies we'll face."

"Enemies?" Obito asked, brows furrowing.

"The puppets. Individually, they're not strong, but there are many of them. So, the training will simulate a war of attrition—fighting against a continuous wave of opponents," Reiki explained.

"A war of attrition?" Obito's eyes widened. "But, Reiki, do you even have enough puppets for that?"

"No, you won't be fighting puppets. You'll be fighting everyone from the orphanage and our old classmates," Reiki said, his grin widening. "And I'll be acting as an elite enemy, launching surprise attacks."

"Reiki, that sounds more like bullying!" Obito groaned, feeling the weight of the upcoming challenge.

Kakashi's eyes sharpened. "So, this training isn't just for us—it's to give the others combat experience too, right?"

"Exactly," Reiki confirmed. "And don't worry, I'll treat anyone who gets injured. We're simulating an army of puppets, so think of this as a real battle. I'll provide potions to keep everyone going."

Rin glanced around. "When do we start? And shouldn't we wait until school ends for the others to join?"

Reiki shook his head, a playful glint in his eyes. "We start soon, and the training will be at the Senju training ground."

"The Senju training ground?" The three of them exchanged puzzled looks.

Just then, a voice called out from the entrance. "Reiki!"

"Machuan, you're here!" Reiki greeted with a smile as Machuan, Hanyu Asawa, Feng, Jianzhang, and other orphanage kids filed into the courtyard.

"Wait, aren't you supposed to be at the academy?" Rin asked, surprised to see her old classmates.

"Reiki arranged for a special practical training session through the academy. We're all here to participate," Machuan said, grinning. "And guess what? Nawaki is going to be the referee!"

Nawaki walked in behind them, smiling. "It's good to see everyone here. I'll make sure the training is fair."

Behind him, the rest of Reiki's old classmates appeared, excitement on their faces. They were eager to test themselves against some of the most skilled students in their year—Kakashi, Obito, and Rin.

"Reiki, you really went all out," Kakashi said, a rare smile breaking through his usual serious demeanor.

"Let's go," Reiki said, leading everyone to the Senju training ground. This legendary place, built by Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama, had witnessed countless battles. Even Uchiha Madara once fought here, and the deep scars of those epic clashes were still visible. It was a place so significant that neither Sarutobi Hiruzen nor Danzo dared to touch it.

Once at the training ground, Reiki outlined the rules while Nawaki, acting more as a figurehead referee than an enforcer, nodded in agreement. The participants split into their respective teams, ready for the challenge ahead.
