Seeing Tsunade's smile, Reiki felt a slight chill. Tsunade definitely suspected something. She wasn't easy to fool.
"I need to go, teacher. There's an ancient recipe for potions there, and I need to secure it myself. I'm worried others might mishandle it," Reiki explained.
"An ancient potion recipe?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow. "Reiki, the potions you've developed before..."
"Yes," Reiki interrupted. "Some were my own creations, but the rest came from discoveries I made during missions."
Without hesitation, Reiki pulled out several aged potion scrolls from his ninja tool bag.
**[Elementary Body-Building Potion Formula]**
**[Elementary Rage Potion Recipe]**
**[Elementary Qingling Potion Formula]**
Tsunade studied the formulas carefully. As a renowned medical expert, she could quickly verify their authenticity. The content, the age of the scrolls—everything seemed legitimate. This boy wasn't lying. Yet, for reasons she couldn't explain, Tsunade felt a hint of regret.
"Alright," she said finally. "You should inform the Hokage about this and request to join the combat team. He won't refuse. And next time, if you have something important, tell me everything at once. Don't make me drag it out of you bit by bit. Minato and his team will likely be back in about half a month."
Tsunade handed the scrolls back to Reiki, who nodded. He left her office, planning to wait until Minato's return to approach Sarutobi Hiruzen. Until then, he'd focus on his medical duties.

Later, Reiki navigated the hospital with his usual charisma.
"Sister Mikami, can you let me take this mission? Just one, please!"
"Sister Hatano, I'm almost done with my missions for today—share yours with me!"
"Sister Tianhai…"
Thanks to his charm and quick work, Reiki soon completed all his medical tasks and made his way to the Konoha orphanage.
"Brother Reiki!" A group of children immediately swarmed around him, their eyes filled with excitement.
"Boss Reiki!" A familiar voice called out, and Asuma appeared, striding confidently.
"Captain Morishita, you're here too?" Reiki greeted, surprised. "Asuma, what are you doing here? Don't you have a training ground at home?"
Asuma grinned. "Makawa and Hanyu Asawa are out on missions, and you're always busy. So, I came to help train the kids. Besides, Reiki, what brings you here? Want to do some sparring? I've gotten a lot stronger."
A few minutes later, Asuma lay on the ground, panting as Reiki healed him.
"Captain Morishita, when Asuma is done, could you take him home? I'm about to start special training for the kids here," Reiki said, glancing at Morishita.
"Alright..." Morishita agreed, though Asuma shot up and protested.
"I want to join the special training!" Asuma declared.
Before he could say more, Reiki's hand shot out, knocking him unconscious. "Your opinion doesn't matter," Reiki muttered. The special training he had in mind wasn't suited for someone like Asuma.
Asuma was healed soon after but stubbornly refused to leave, looking at Reiki with pleading eyes.
"Fine. If you want to watch, prepare yourself mentally," Reiki sighed, giving in.
"Deal!" Asuma said eagerly, his eyes shining with curiosity. He couldn't understand how, despite his relentless training, he could never defeat Reiki, a medical ninja.
---
"Who's acting as captain?" Reiki asked the assembled group of orphanage children.
A boy stepped forward. "It's me, Brother Reiki."
"Yue Shuang? Good. You've done this before. Get everyone ready for what's coming," Reiki instructed, settling down and pulling out bottles of potions.
Within minutes, hundreds of bottles lay at his feet, piquing Captain Morishita's curiosity.
Half an hour later, Yue Shuang returned with a group of a dozen older children. The younger ones, aged five and under, were excused from this round. The children standing before Reiki were around seven or eight years old.
"Let's begin," Reiki said. "Collect your recovery and stamina potions. You'll start by moving and casting ninjutsu while maintaining physical training. Be careful not to hurt your teammates or get distracted by them."
With that, Reiki joined the training, blending seamlessly into the group. At nine years old, he stood slightly taller than most of them, a testament to his rigorous training and nutrition.
"I want a potion too," Asuma said, approaching with determination.
"Use your own money," Reiki retorted, smirking. "These potions are for the orphanage kids. Don't tell me you'd stoop to taking their supplies?"
Asuma's face fell. Rich? Was he supposed to be richer than Reiki? It stung, but he had to admit Reiki was right. He couldn't take from those who needed it more.
