During the week before the tryouts Christian was always on the field trying to get used to the system and by this time he had gotten used to the nano bots. On the day of the tryouts Christian rode his bike to the youth academy as he remembered as his grandmother didn't want him to go to the tryouts.
As he rode through the street he spotted the two teenagers from the other night but he managed to avoid them.
Upon arriving at the academy, the academy he would see various group of people who came to tryout for the youth team. After a about thirty minutes of waiting to be registered due to the queue. After registering he waited for his turn to be evaluated waiting another hour it was finally his turn to be evaluated to confirm which category he would play in.
His first test was to juggle the ball 100 times and due to his effort paying off he was able to complete the juggle. His next exercise was a 1v1 dribble since he applied to be a winger and with the help of the nanao machine he was able to spot the flaws of the defender and easily dribble past him. After passing the initial evaluation and he passed he was to be evluated in a match.
The game consisted of 8 players on both side. The game for the both sides kicked of and the opponents being professionals immediately began to press, Christian team mates and soon they were able to intercept the ball from Christian's team mates. The striker who took the ball immediately sprinted forward and didn't even bother slowing down as he dribbled through the team B defence (Christian's team) and slotted the ball at the back of the net.
He didn't even bother celebrating as if the goal was just normal. The game continued and Christian noticed that his team mates weren't passing to him, as he was new in the team and it was an evaluation. Christian understood as they didn't know him or ever seen him play so they were unwilling to risk the game on a stranger, who could make a mistake.
Christian decided to prove himself as soon he was able to intercept a threatening pass from the team B's half and he immediately sprinted forward with the help of the nano machine he was able to spot what the defenders was about to do and his best chance of dribbling through, so he was able to smoothly dribble through the Team A's defence.
The team's A goalkeeper was quick to react as he immediately rushed out slightly to put pressure on Christian but Christian remained unfazed. With a slight flick of his ankle he flicked the ball over the goalkeeper's head and the ball dropped into the net.the goal came as a surprise to the coach, as he didn't expect Christian to perform so well in the first game even without an assist.
Christian immediately went back into position as the evaluation kicked off again. Even though Christian scored a goal and equalized for team B, the Team A soon showed their superiority, as at the the 20 minutes later team A had already scored 3 goals ending the game with a scoreline of 4-1.
After his exceptional display of talent, he was offered a spot in the Elite youth team and even was a prospect for a youth contract after one match. The next day Christian was introduced to the elite team surprising them as the evaluation just ended the day before.
"So here is your new team mate Christian" The coach introduced him to the team their reactions mixed, while some were hostile especially, king a talented striker for the youth team who thought he got in due to his families influence or some underhand means, while some just didn't care.
