Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 Hellfire Sorceress

ALERT ALERT ALERT ALERT ALERT ALERT!!

"Hunn, what? I'm up. What's wrong?" I stammered out as I was woken from my deep sleep.

Notice: You requested me to wake you after 12 hours had passed.

"Damn, that barely felt like 2 hours," rubbing the sleep out of my eyes as I slowly woke up and mumbled the floating window in front of me.

Notice: It has been 12 hours.

I just glared at the window system's response.

"Ok, fine it's been 12 hours. Now, I vaguely remember some OP bullshit about Ley Lines and me ignoring the notifications you were giving me, can you list what happened?"

Notice: You gained XP, 1 attribute point, +100 Int, a Life Skill/Job: Seamstress, 3 Legendary Lottery Tickets, your Int stat passed the milestones: 20, 50, and 100 allowing you to pick three new Int-based perks, and 1 Quest: Protect the Ley Line for 200 years or more and gain massive rewards upon completion. Your magic core is now tied to a Class 5 Ley Line and you can use it to power your spells, your previous Mp was 13,800, however since you claimed the Ley Line it has risen to 1,725,000. It will continue to rise exponentially as you level up.

"Damn… that's cool, open up my lottery tickets I guess."

Three giant golden tickets replaced the system window with runes surrounding them that I identified as 'Legend,' 'Reward,' 'Chaos,' and 'Positive'. As soon as I had translated them in my mind they started to rip themselves to pieces.

1 Legendary Lottery Ticket has been opened: You have received: 1 Hellfire Sorceress Staff: A succubus like you shouldn't rely on a flimsy wand, you need a Staff to help you channel your immense magical power. This staff is also attuned to fire magic.

1 Legendary Lottery Ticket has been opened: You have received: 1 Succubus Walk-in Wardrobe: a wardrobe of endless possibilities. You are beauty incarnate, and as such you should dress to impress, this wardrobe has any style of clothes you desire, all you have to do is ask for them.

1 Legendary Lottery Ticket has been opened: You have received: 1 Kiseru: an enchanted smoking pipe made from a branch of 500-year-old Stormwood and capped with Shadowgold mined by the ancient elves of old. 1 Frostweave vine: This vine grows in cold magical rich environments, its leaves, when ground together and smoked produce a hallucinogenic effect. It produces small snow-like berries that are cold to the touch and taste like honeyed blackberries.

As soon as the windows faded, an intricate black, almost charred staff with a glowing red gem atop it materialized in my hand. A large thud echoed around me as a…sexy, for lack of a better word, wardrobe appeared behind me; and iceberg-colored vines started to crawl through the cave system.

However, I wasn't paying attention to anything else right now, because as soon as my staff touched my hand, my magical aura flared out. The cave walls and ground started to shatter and the gem on top of my staff was radiating an intense light, like a blazing fire that would never die out.

The feeling was delicious, I could feel the heat burning through my body like a cleansing wave driving out any impurities from within me. From my blood and bones to my very soul I could feel the fire searching to purify me in my entirety. After what felt like hours but only lasted a few minutes the rush of magic subsided and I wrestled my magic back into myself.

Notice: You have been judged and cleansed by Hellfire. You have gained an affinity for Hellfire magic along with mastery over all lesser forms of fire magic.

Notice: Your Title as Sorceress has been upgraded to Hellfire Sorceress. You can now wield fire magic at will; you are one with fire, and fire is one with you.

I could now feel a raging inferno inside of my chest, a beast that was being contained but ready to be used at any time.

"Ahhhhhh," a small black and blue flame rushed out of my mouth as I sighed in comfort and disbelief.

'I knew I would probably have some OP stuff happen to me because I have the 'Gamer System,' but this is fucking ridiculous!' A large smile appeared on my face as I thought that, while I also continued to breathe out whisps of flame that looked similar to the demonic flames that Grindelwald used in the movies.

Notice: That is correct, you are breathing Phantom Fire also known as Protego Diabolica when cast. This fire incinerates enemies but leaves allies unharmed.

"This is so fucking cool!" I squealed out as I jumped up and down.

(5 Minutes Later)

"Owwww… Having bigger boobs is awesome, but I need support, that fucking stings." I moaned out as I gently rubbed my melons. Glancing at the wardrobe next to me I immediately walked inside, it was like walking into Doctor Who's police box, but with every type of clothes you could think of. There was just one problem with this amazing wardrobe…I have a horrible fashion sense.

"Greetings Valentine, I am here to help you look the best you can be. What would you like to try on today?" A silky smooth voice said, surrounding me from every angle.

"Um, hi, I need something to wear in a forest and something that can support my giant bust."

"Understood, how about trying this selection of clothes?" The voice said as a rack of five different outfits shimmered into existence to the right of me. It took me all of one minute to pick something that looked nice. Black combat boots, skintight black pants, a small crop top that barely fit but supported my girls, and a leather strap on my back to hold my staff.

"Ok, thanks wardrobe." Waving back towards the wardrobe as I walked out.

'Well, I guess I should finish the Quest that brought me here; build a Homebase.

It took a while to walk back out of the cave as walked out in my succubi body instead of my Nundu form, but I wanted to get used to my new body. Once I reached the entrance I was glad to note that it was morning, clear skies, not a cloud in sight, and the forest wasn't as crowded around here, so I could feel the sunlight hitting my face.

'Ok, enough of that, time to guard this entrance, then look for some wood to make a makeshift home area.'

After that thought, I started to focus on my magical core and the raging inferno within me. Reaching behind me I grabbed my new staff and slammed it on the ground as I went through all the runes and runic languages that had been shoved into my skull.

It took a few minutes of careful thought, but I finally settled on the runic clusters I would use to protect my new home. With a focused breath, I raised my staff, feeling its weight, before slamming it down into the earth. The moment it made contact with the forest floor, a surge of energy erupted, and hundreds of black and blue runes, wreathed in flames, burst into existence around me.

With intense concentration, I began to shape the runes into five distinct wards. The first cluster absorbed the raw energy from the Ley Line, feeding the runic structures with its power. The second ward shielded the entrance from all life—living, undead, or otherwise. No Inferi, no necromancer, would breach my new home. The third ward was the most lethal: within a 30-meter radius of the cave, anything with a pulse was ensnared in a slaughter array. Fueled by the vast power of the Ley Line, it would remain active for an unimaginable time… if not forever.

The fourth ward cloaked the cave in a powerful illusion, concealing its entrance and replacing it with an unassuming field of razor-sharp bristle patches. Anyone who approached would be none the wiser. The fifth ward was personal, a signature cluster that would identify me as the rightful owner and allow me to see through the illusions, passing safely through the slaughter array without harm.

It took nearly an hour, but as the final rune embedded itself into the ground, completing the identification array, I felt a rush—a flood of energy from the Ley Line surged through me. The runic sequences activated, and a profound sense of awe washed over me. Not only was I doing real fucking magic for the first time, but I was using the Ley Lines's power to do it, and it was a euphoric feeling as its power washed through me.
