Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Don’t Try to Kidnap Me, Because I Have No Morals!

**[Energy Absorption EXP +1]**

**[Energy Absorption EXP +1]**

**[Energy Absorption EXP +1]**

**[Congratulations, Energy Absorption has leveled up!]**

**[Energy Absorption lv3 (1/1000): Can now absorb most types of energy, with increased absorption rate and higher storage capacity.]**

After the upgrade in energy absorption, Su Mu immediately noticed a massive transformation in his abilities.

Firstly, the range of absorbable energy types expanded; now he could absorb nuclear energy and even magical energy, previously inaccessible.

Additionally, the speed at which he absorbed energy was at least three times faster than before. The energy storage limit also increased threefold, allowing him to maintain the Limitless Technique for up to half an hour, perform the Reversal Technique "Cang" with full power more than six times, or the Reversal Technique "He" at its lowest power three times.

From the information he obtained via the character template, he knew that even the minimum power of Reversal Technique "He" was at least twice the maximum power of "Cang." This didn't just mean a higher energy consumption but a much more devastating destructive power!

However, Su Mu knew that his previous successful use of Reversal Technique "He" was pure luck. He wasn't confident he could pull it off again.

That previous version of "He" was incomplete, with a substantial amount of energy leaking out uncontrollably. If he used that unstable form of Reversal Technique "He," he'd likely exhaust his energy after just two attempts.

Until he unlocked more knowledge and experience with Reversal Technique "He" from the character template, he decided it was best not to use it.

The increased energy reserves and absorption speed were hugely beneficial to Su Mu.

With his current strength, he could likely withstand small-caliber bullets and absorb the bullets' kinetic energy entirely.

This meant that, even without activating the Limitless Technique, he no longer had to fear surprise attacks.

Unfortunately, both the Limitless and Reversal Techniques were still at a low level, and he wasn't sure at what level they'd need to be before he could reach Gojo Satoru's standard.

Imagining his future abilities excited Su Mu. He even began to look forward to unlocking a character template with dimensional travel abilities, allowing him to go to the world of *Jujutsu Kaisen*.

One day, he'd defeat the unbeatable Gojo Satoru with the same techniques!

After replenishing his energy by absorbing more electricity and advancing his template fusion rate to 27%, Su Mu exited the sewer.

The sewer exit was located in a secluded alley. Just as Su Mu was about to buy some new clothes, he spotted a girl standing nearby, staring at him in shock.

The girl had green hair and looked dirty and fragile, almost helpless.

But with his Six Eyes, Su Mu could see the massive green energy lurking within her and the nearby metal objects subtly responding to it.

He instantly recognized the girl—Polaris!

Polaris was Magneto's daughter, real name Lorna Dane, who wielded magnetic manipulation powers. At her peak, she could control Earth's magnetic field, making her a formidable mutant on par with Magneto!

Su Mu was surprised to see her here. However, considering this universe was unlike any he knew, he quickly adjusted, realizing it was simply an alternate parallel universe.

Marvel's universes had countless versions, and nothing was impossible.

Su Mu wasn't planning to engage with Polaris, but Polaris wasn't going to let him go so easily.

She recognized the man before her as the one the media had dubbed the most powerful mutant of the era, the world's greatest threat—the White-Haired Devil!

For mutants, however, he was known as the Savior and Leader.

Whether seen as a threat or a leader, this man was known to be immensely powerful—perhaps even stronger than her father, Magneto!

When Su Mu turned to leave, Polaris instinctively tried to stop him, manipulating metal pipes from the wall to block his path.

But…

Polaris stared, stunned, as the metal she controlled froze in mid-air behind him, unable to move closer.

Rather than feeling frustrated, she was even more exhilarated. The stronger Su Mu was, the more hope mutants had of being liberated from human oppression!

She smiled, about to speak to him, but her smile froze as Su Mu turned slowly, his piercing blue eyes devoid of emotion.

Under his deathly gaze, Polaris felt a wave of pressure, as if the Grim Reaper's scythe was already resting on her neck, ready to claim her soul at any moment.

Then she heard his cold voice:

"Isn't it better just to stay alive?"

That ominous whisper jolted Polaris back to her senses. She stammered, "I mean no harm. I just want to follow you and fight the human government together!"

But Su Mu offered no response, continuing toward her, each slow step amplifying the oppressive weight bearing down on her, as if death itself was closing in.

Instinctively, she tried to attack him with every bit of metal around them.

But none of it could breach his defense.

Only then did Polaris realize what it meant to face the White-Haired Devil. This was a terror beyond her comprehension—a power from a different dimension!

Despite her full power, she couldn't stop Su Mu as he forced her into a corner, immobilizing her against the wall.

Using energy to strengthen his body, he ignored Polaris, plunging his fingers into the largest metal pipe and tossing it ahead.

The pipe, imbued with immense force, embedded deeply into the wall right next to Polaris's ear.

"Beautiful lady, take this as a warning. Next time, you won't be so lucky."

With a slight flick of his finger, the surrounding metal ignored Polaris's control, embedding into the walls around her, encasing her.

Watching the white-haired man yawn, striding away just as leisurely as he'd arrived, Polaris gathered her courage and shouted after him:

"You're so strong! You could do so much! You could save mutants—why won't you act?"

After a brief pause, when she thought he'd ignore her, his indifferent voice rang out:

"Their suffering… What does that have to do with me?"

The white-haired devil turned his head, showing a striking profile with deep blue eyes, and gave a faint smile.

"Don't try to kidnap me—I have no morals."
