Gwen glared furiously at the massive lizard creature before her.
"Dr. Connors, this time I'm going to beat you and bring you to justice!"
Spider-Gwen launched her attack on the Lizard. Though the creature's immense strength could snap concrete columns, it was unable to land a hit on the nimble Spider-Woman, who darted around it skillfully, her strikes landing repeatedly. But even as her blows connected, they failed to deal any significant damage. The Lizard's skin was thick and tough, and with his regeneration ability, even the blows that could kill an ordinary person barely left a scratch.
Despite her growing frustration and increased power from adrenaline, Gwen quickly began to tire. She was still new to her powers, and her lack of combat experience meant that her strength and speed were fading fast. Noticing her weakening, the Lizard found an opening, grabbing her by the leg and hurling her into a nearby wall with a heavy crash, leaving a deep, human-shaped dent.
Dazed and in immense pain, Gwen struggled to rise, only to see the terrifying green figure looming over her, blocking out the dim streetlight. She felt the unbearable sting of fear as the Lizard prepared to deliver another brutal kick, sending her flying once more. This time, she had no strength left to fight back.
Hearing the Lizard's footsteps drawing closer, she looked up, her body wracked with pain, unable to stand. She knew that Dr. Connors, transformed into this monstrous being, had no mercy left. A sense of dread washed over her as she thought, *"Am I really going to die just as I've begun my life as Spider-Woman?"*
Just then, a voice rang out from a distance—a voice she thought belonged to the man who should've been dead. She blinked, thinking it was a hallucination, but when she saw the Lizard halt his steps, she realized it was real.
"You deaf or something, ugly?" the voice taunted.
The Lizard turned to face Su Mu, who gave a sly grin. "Think you can just attack me and get away with it?"
Dr. Connors' intelligence was almost gone in his Lizard form, leaving only a creature driven by pure instinct. The Lizard hesitated briefly but quickly decided to attack again, charging at Su Mu to finish him off.
"Run!" Gwen yelled, fearing for the stranger's life.
But what happened next left her stunned.
With a roar, the Lizard lunged, his size and strength making him seem unstoppable, like a speeding truck. Yet, Su Mu merely extended his hand, creating a barrier with his Infinity Technique, a skill that allowed him to halt anything at an infinite distance away from him. The Lizard, just inches from impact, was frozen in place, unable to close the gap no matter how hard he pushed.
Gwen watched in shock, unable to understand how this thin stranger could block such a massive creature with just his hand. *"What's happening?"* she thought, her world upended.
Su Mu smiled brightly, almost mocking, as he looked at the Lizard. "Come on, try harder. Maybe if you give it your all, you'll reach me!" he taunted.
Infuriated, the Lizard let out a bellow and summoned all his power, his muscles bulging with energy as he swung at full force.
But it still didn't work.
Seeing that the game was up, Su Mu allowed energy to flow through him, deciding it was time to end this fight. Under the enhancement of his Six Eyes, the Lizard was nothing more than a punching bag.
Gwen could only stare, wide-eyed, as this slender man delivered blow after blow, each strike landing with precision, inflicting significant damage on the monstrous creature. With one final, powerful kick to the Lizard's chest, Su Mu sent him flying through several walls before he collapsed onto the ground.
But the Lizard wasn't out for long. Thanks to his incredible regeneration, he rose again, his wounds quickly healing.
Gwen, who had briefly been filled with hope, felt despair return. *He just keeps regenerating,* she thought. *Even someone as strong as this man will be worn down eventually.*
"This guy has a ridiculous healing factor," Gwen called out to Su Mu. "If you don't take him down in one shot, he'll just recover and exhaust you!"
Su Mu ignored her, his focus shifting to the Lizard, who seemed angrier than ever. As the creature lunged once more, Su Mu's face turned cold.
"Did you really think I'd let you get away?" he muttered, raising his hand. With a slight clenching of his fingers, he unleashed his Reversed Cursed Technique: *Blue*.
