She made it. She finally made it back out. All on her own.
She had never been able to make it back to the outside after being brought back to the underground dungeon, unless she was killed and reincarnated again.
It was a truly monumental occasion.
But what now?
She had never made it this far before. Sure, she knew how to go about her plans of starting a world war, but how was she supposed to start if she didn't know in which direction to start walking?
The only places she's been to were her home and this underground dungeon. She wouldn't even know how to get back home from the dungeon since they'd always knock her out somewhere along the way. Sometimes it'd be right after kidnapping her, sometimes halfway through. Even if they didn't knock her out, she'd still have no idea where to start heading towards.
But she refused to stay in this deranged place any longer, so she just started walking.
She could've just walked forward, but instead she circled around to the back of the dungeon and walked away.
There was no logic or reasoning behind it. She just thought it'd be best.
Perhaps she unconsciously thought that if they came looking for her, they would never have thought she'd walk in the direction opposite to the exit.
Perhaps she felt that walking forward would take her home, and she wasn't quite ready to return home yet.
Whatever the reason was, she had now started on her path.
