Emily walked to the preparation area, where a team was already waiting for her with a carefully selected set of clothes. A stylist, a makeup artist, and a hairdresser worked in sync to transform her.
"Let's bring out her natural glow with soft tropical tones," the stylist commented, holding up a light dress printed with vibrant leaves and flowers.
The makeup artist agreed, "Something fresh and bright."
Minutes later, Emily emerged looking stunning. The dress molded perfectly to her body, her hair was loose in soft waves, and the makeup highlighted her flawless skin. She approached the set, where the photographer was already adjusting the lights.
"Perfect!" he exclaimed upon seeing her. "Let's start with you standing next to these leaves. Pretend you're feeling the breeze of a rainforest."
Emily nodded, already getting into the role. The setting was designed to capture an exotic atmosphere, with artificial plants and golden lighting that mimicked the light of the sunset.
"Look to the side, as if you were thinking about something far away... That's perfect! Now turn to me, a soft smile... wonderful!" the photographer directed as he frantically clicked away.
Emily moved naturally, changing positions as instructed, each movement fluid as if she were part of the scene.
"Now, sit in that wicker chair. Relax, as if you were on a quiet vacation."
Emily followed the instructions, elegantly crossing her legs and giving the camera an intriguing look. The photographer smiled, visibly impressed.
"You have an incredible talent for this, Emily. You know exactly how to connect with the camera."
She laughed softly, maintaining her professionalism.
"Thank you. My profession helps a lot."
After a few photos, Gabriela approached with a glass of water and said, "We're halfway through, Emily. The next session will be with props."
Emily nodded, grabbing the water and quickly heading to the dressing room to change her outfit. This time, her look included flashy jewelry and a stylized straw hat, which added a glamorous touch to the tropical theme.
"Stunning," the photographer commented as she returned to the set. "Let's do some close-up poses now."
With each click, Emily delivered strong and delicate expressions, alternating between intense looks and soft smiles. The photographer applauded her versatility.
"Excellent! I think we managed to capture exactly what we needed."
With the shoot complete, the crew began to dismantle the set while Emily thanked everyone individually. Gabriela approached with the script in hand.
"Now let's get to the interview, shall we?" Emily asked.
Gabriela smiled.
"Yes, but don't worry. I've already reviewed everything, and you look impeccable."
Emily sighed, still energized by the photoshoot.
"So, let's go. I'm ready."
Emily and Gabriela walked towards another room, where the Flor magazine team was waiting for them. Among those present was Viviane, a blonde woman with a bright smile, as well as cameramen and other professionals.
Gabriela waved to Viviane and said,
"Hi, Viviane! My star has arrived."
Viviane stood up enthusiastically, opening her arms to Emily.
"Hello! I've heard a lot about you lately."
Emily, politely, returned the hug before responding with a soft smile,
"Take care of me."
Viviane smiled back, transmitting confidence.
"Relax, we're among friends."
Gabriela waved cordially to the other crew members as Viviane took Emily's hands and led her to the set set up in the living room.
"This is where we'll do the interview. Please sit down," Viviane said, pointing to the couch.
She gestured to the crew, signaling that they would begin in a minute.
Lights and cameras were strategically positioned to capture every detail as the crew finalized the adjustments.
Emily sat with impeccable posture, exuding confidence and serenity. Viviane settled down next to her, with a notepad and a microphone in hand. Gabriela watched everything attentively from a corner of the room, making sure the shots were going as expected.
"Ready?" Viviane asked, glancing at the crew.
"Sound and camera, ready!" a technician replied, signaling the start of the recording.
Viviane smiled warmly at Emily before starting
"Emily, first of all, I want to say that we are delighted to have you featured in this month's Flor Magazine. Your name has been gaining so much space lately, whether in cinema or music. How are you dealing with this rapid rise?"
Emily adjusted a strand of hair before answering naturally:
"It's an honor, really. I think dealing with this has been a mix of emotions: gratitude, mainly, but also a lot of work. I have a wonderful team by my side, and that makes all the difference."
Viviane nodded
"And speaking of work, your film is generating huge expectations, mainly because of the chemistry between you and Artur. What was it like working with him?"
Emily laughed lightly
"Artur is an incredible professional, as well as very funny. On set, he always knows how to ease the tension with his sense of humor. This lightness helped a lot to create a natural dynamic between us during the scenes."
Viviane took the opportunity to ask a more provocative question:
"And what about the rumors of a possible relationship off-camera?"
Gabriela, attentive, leaned forward slightly, but Emily maintained her composure and answered calmly:
"Artur and I are great friends. I think it's natural for people to create stories beyond what really happens, but I can assure you that we are completely focused on our work."
Viviane smiled, clearly impressed by Emily's serenity.
"Understood. Changing the subject, you released a song that topped the charts in Aurora. Did you always want to explore music or did this come about unexpectedly?"
Emily lit up with the question, revealing enthusiasm.
"I've always loved music, but I never imagined I would have the chance to do something professional. When the opportunity arose, I accepted it immediately. Music is an extension of who I am, and I'm very happy that the public connected with it."
Viviane crossed her legs and leaned forward, in a gesture of greater proximity.
"You are, without a doubt, a versatile artist. Where do you see yourself in five years?"
Emily paused briefly to reflect before answering:
"I hope to continue telling stories, whether acting, singing or exploring other forms of art. I want to constantly challenge myself and, who knows, even produce my own projects."
Viviane looked at Emily with a smile.
"Without a doubt, the world will be watching. Emily."
After a brief pause, Viviane adjusted herself on the couch, crossing her legs and looking at Emily with a curious smile.
"Emily, you were filming in Florence. It's a charming city, full of art and history. How was your experience?"
Emily smiled, adjusting herself in the armchair.
"Florence is magical. I've been exploring art galleries and walking through streets full of history. It's an incredible experience to be in a place where every corner seems to tell a centuries-old story."
Viviane leaned in a little closer, interested. "Is there a specific place that really left an impression on you?"
"Oh, without a doubt the Uffizi Gallery. I was fascinated by the collection of Renaissance works. But I also had a special moment when I visited the Ponte Vecchio at dusk. The view, the colors... it was unforgettable," Emily said, her eyes shining as she remembered.
Viviane smiled, sharing her excitement. "With such a rich experience, do you plan to visit other regions of Italy in the future?"
"Of course!" Emily replied excitedly. "Italy has so much to offer. I want to explore Venice and experience the unique atmosphere of sailing through the canals. I would also love to visit Rome and its historical landmarks, such as the Colosseum. And maybe even a trip to the Amalfi Coast?"
Viviane nodded, impressed.
"It seems like you really want to immerse yourself in Italian culture."
Emily smiled.
"Absolutely. Each country has its own essence, and Italy, with its art, cuisine and history, is a place where I could spend months and still discover something new every day."
Viviane, with a more serious tone, leaned forward slightly before asking, "We heard some disturbing news. Is it true that you were attacked when you returned to the hotel recently?"
Emily seemed surprised by the question, but quickly regained her composure before answering, "Yes, it was a... peculiar moment. I was returning from the film set and, suddenly, I was attacked from behind. When I woke up, I was already in the hospital."
Viviane frowned, visibly worried.
"Did you find out who was responsible for this attack?"
Emily took a deep breath before continuing.
"At that moment, my bodyguard acted quickly and managed to protect me. But the attacker fled before they could stop him. After that, the case was forwarded to the police."
Viviane studied Emily's expression, looking for signs of discomfort, but the young actress maintained a firm posture.
"What a relief to know that you managed to escape unharmed," Viviane said, with a comforting smile.
Emily returned the smile gently.
Changing her tone, Viviane continued with a question that seemed to carry a touch of personal curiosity.
"In other news, we saw that you have been close to Matthew Lancaster. Could you tell us what the relationship is between you two? Is he your boyfriend?"
Emily let out a light laugh before answering,
"No, Matthew is not my boyfriend. We met when he visited the set of my first film. We got along really well, but that's it."
Viviane arched an eyebrow, letting out an enigmatic smile.
"But could it be?"
Emily sighed, as if thinking for a brief moment, before saying,
"I don't think he would like me that way."
Viviane laughed softly, crossing her legs.
"You need to be more confident, miss. After all, who wouldn't like you?"
Emily looked away for a moment, smiling softly, before Viviane returned to a more professional topic.
"We recently had the Aurora Artists Awards, and we heard that you were invited. How did you feel about not being able to attend for professional reasons?"
Emily's smile faded a little, giving way to an expression of melancholy.
"I was very sad that I couldn't go. It would have been my first contact with so many renowned artists, and I know it would have been an incredible experience. Unfortunately, the recordings ended up coinciding with the date, and I had to prioritize my work."
Viviane nodded, with an understanding expression.
"There will certainly be many other opportunities. You are just at the beginning of a brilliant career, Emily."
Viviane's encouraging tone brought back Emily's smile, who responded gratefully,
"I hope so. Thank you for your words."
Viviane concluded the section with a look at the camera
"Emily is a rising star who is already conquering the world. Stay tuned to see what she does next."
A brief applause echoed through the room as Viviane stood up to greet Emily once again.
"You were amazing. I'm sure the readers will love this issue."
Gabriela approached, with a proud smile.
"As always, you shined."
Emily sighed lightly, relieved.
"Thank you. Can I rest now?"
Gabriela laughed softly.
"For today, yes. But tomorrow we already have another commitment."
Emily nodded humorously, standing up to follow her.
"The life of a star really doesn't take a break, does it?"
The two left the room together, leaving behind a visibly satisfied team.
Emily walked out of the store with calm steps, while Gabriela followed her carrying a few bags. Emily sighed, exhausted, before turning the car keys in her hand and tossing them to Gabriela.
"I'm too tired to drive," she muttered, running her hand through her hair.
Gabriela caught the keys in midair and shook her head with an amused smile.
When they reached the car, Gabriela stopped for a moment, analyzing the vehicle. Her eyes widened.
"Is this your car? Seriously?"
Emily raised an eyebrow, confused.
"Yes, why?"
"Nothing," Gabriela replied, sighing as she unlocked the vehicle.
Once they got in, Emily leaned back in the passenger seat and rested her head, closing her eyes with a soft sigh. Gabriela, however, seemed uncomfortable, adjusting herself in the driver's seat before starting the car.
After a few minutes of driving, Gabriela nervously blurted out, "My year's salary will be gone if I crash this Lamborghini."
Emily laughed softly, opening her eyes just enough to look at her.
"Relax. Matthew won't want your money. Drive with confidence."
Gabriela snorted, stopping at the red light.
"Easy for you to say. Just look at how other drivers keep their distance from that car."
Emily laughed once more, shaking her head.
"It's just a car, Gabriela."
Gabriela took a deep breath before driving again, keeping her focus on the route.
An hour and a half later, they finally arrived at the mansion. As soon as she stopped the car in front of the gate, Gabriela sighed in relief.
"We're here, star."
Emily woke up from her light sleep, blinking slowly.
"Hm? Are we there yet?"
Gabriela unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door, looking at Emily with an amused smile.
"Yes, and I already told Matthew that you're here. He asked someone to pick you up, because he doesn't think you should drive while you're still sleepy."
Emily yawned, lightly patting her face to wake herself up.
"Always so worried."
As one of the maids opened the gate for them, Gabriela picked up her bags and waved to Emily.
"I'm going. Your company has already arrived."
Emily watched her open the door of a taxi waiting at the entrance and waved it over before Gabriela got in.
"Are you sure you don't want to sleep here?"
Gabriela shook her head with a smile.
"I don't want to disturb the couple."
Emily laughed lightly, yawning again as she watched Gabriela leave. She was interrupted by the maid, who approached with a friendly smile.
"Miss, Mr. Lancaster asked me to pick you up. He's still in the office with his assistant."
Emily nodded, closing her eyes again as she was led into the mansion, enjoying a few more minutes of rest.
