Arakan's tail twitched behind him as he nodded enthusiastically. "Baths with Onee-chan are the best! She washes my hair and lets me splash around."
I couldn't resist poking a little fun. "Sounds like Arakan gets spoiled. I bet he also gets to press his face against your, uh… 'soft pillows' during bath time too."
Aiko froze, her blush deepening as she shot me a glare. "Takahashi-san!"
"What?" I replied, feigning innocence. "I'm just stating the obvious."
Aoi looked up at me curiously. "Onii-chan, what do you mean by soft pillows?"
"Nothing, nothing!" I said quickly, ruffling her hair.
Aiko sighed, shaking her head. "You're impossible." She turned her attention back to Arakan, who was now grinning mischievously.
"And you," she said, poking his forehead lightly, "need to stop being so clingy all the time."
"But I love Onee-chan," Arakan replied earnestly, his silver eyes wide with sincerity.
