In agbor village resides terror, conflict, dischain, fear and agony between the villagers due to the presence of a hedious king named king John. This king is a very evil king who relies on dark power and magic to own authority in the village.

All the villagers gave him no respect but gave him fear especially the women

He has killed, murdered, vanquished, lavished,vandalized and spuandered humanity from the face if the village ground.

Even his wife was afraid of him. He had a son named Frank. He had his magician train his son since when he was 5 years till he became 23 years by then, he was expert. Frank knew his father's inside out,knew all the shrines his father owned and knew all the magic rituals. Everyone became afraid of him too. Because of this , Frank's mother, king John's wife died on horror. People in the village mourned her within themselves because the wife was nothing like the king. The king was sad and furious. He buried his wife and told his son, frank yo tell the chief guard to announce to the villagers this;

"Frank", said king John, "tell the chief guard to assemble the villagers and warn them that from now on hence forth, anyone who gives birth in the village will bring their babies to me, if twins are being born, one must be killed".

"Yes, father," frank said and went away immediately.

The following day, the massage was announced to the villagers.

"Oh my God, what is this?" a villager complained.

"What kind of wickedness to s king John trying to bring upon us?". another villager complained.

I have told you all,if you like, do otherwise". The chief guard said and walked away leaving the villagers stumed and shocked.

"Father, won't u come and have your lunch?", Frank said as he poked his head inside the shrine his his father was in.

"I will be right there,my son". King John said, sitting with his legs folded In front of an idol.

"Okay," frank said as he tries to exit

"Frank".

"Yes, father".

"Come inside." King John said.

Frank entered through the door of the shrine with his head bent because he was tall. A man in his late 20's,

"Sit". His father gestured.

He sat down and waited.

"My son,now I think it's time for you to settle down with a partner in your life time". King John started.

"Meaning?" Frank said.

"It time for you to bring in a daughter to me, someone who will shield your offspring,carry on my authority to the far generations".

"I know that, father." Frank said,"it's what I've wanting to tell you for the past two days ago, when I'll get married".

They dicussed further on how frank will find a wife, then;

"Let's hand the progress of the marriage to our great one".

King John said and they bowed to the idol in front of them.

In another village which resides In agbor village named nnokwa lived a very respected couple who have a Bea daughter named Favour. She was the "light of the village", according to some youths. Her father died two years ago and she lived with her mother ever since. Everyone in the village respects her. She goes on errands bro assist her mother in somethings.

One day, she went to the most popular stream to fetch water. The popular stream belongs to all the villagers around there. That why the stream was named (ezi mmiri).

When she went to fetch water, she had screams and shouts and people running past her. She stood up in haste and stopped one of the villagers.

" Why are you people running?" She asked.

" The son of king John of agbor village is coming,the evil king's son" .

" Favour, won't you run out if here till he sells you to his evil god's. One girl shouted at favour as she run past her.

Favour struggled and bent to continue what she was doing. When everywhere had been empty, she looked around and gulped fear. Then,at distance,gaurds were coming. She stood up with her pot of water and looked closer. In the midst of the guards stood a man in a regalia, the man motioned his hands and two guards crept into the water with large pots.

Thought raced in favour's mind.

" The evil king's soy," "favour run away before he sells you to his gods" .

Then, favour exhaled and started walking towards the the scenes slowly. A guard turned and saw her, then, quickly drove out his spear and pointed at favour.

" What are you doing here, tell us." The guard said as other guards did what the guard did.

"Hei, hei prince frank shunned,"put down the spear,calm down". The guards put down their spears.

Prince frank came close to favour and favour gestured in greeting.

" Good afternoon, my prince."

She started staring at the prince.

" Good afternoon, are you from ide village?".

Favour shook her head, "No, my prince".

Frank looked closely at her and similed.

" Why are you similing at me,my prince?".

Prince frank suddenly recovered himself.

" Oh, was I similing? Sorry,I'm just.... you know.... surprised that you are not scared of me".

Favour twitched her eyes, " why would I be scared of you,my prince?"

Prince frank laughed and said, " you wouldn't be asking this question if you know who I am".

I know who you are,I heard from the villagers who were just scarupering away".

" That?".

" That you were the son of an evil king who worships evil god's, something like that", favour said boldly.

" That's right". Prince frank said

Favour struggled.

"We're you fetching water?" Prince frank asked." Yes, my prince". Favour nodded.

" Let me help you take it along"

"No,no, my prince", favour said,

" You don't have to worry yourself, Thanks for your concern".

" You sure?"

" Yes, my prince, don't bother"

Prince frank breathed in and exhaled," fine, if you insist, you can carry along".

" Thank you, my prince"

Favour said and lifted the pot of water and went away.

" My prince, you seem lost"

One of the guards touched prince frank after a Long time of staring.

"Nothing, let's carry on".

They said and went on their way.

The guards returned with Frank to the palace and king John was watching from the balcony,

" My son, welcome". King John said.

" Good afternoon, papa". Frank said as he motioned the guards to drop the pot of water at the backyard.

" Papa, I've found a partner*.

" Really?"

" Yes, papa and guess what?"

" What is it", king John inquired.

" She's not afraid of whom we are".

" Wow", said king John, " I like that kind of person, maybe she's like us, you know".

" Well,it doesn't matter, papa"

Frank said, " I will get her as my wife".

Favour went home with the pot of water and dropped it's in the kitchen where her mother was.

" Nne, ibatago?" Favour's mother said.

" Mama, Good afternoon", favour greeted.

She reaches out her hand and patted her daughters head.

" Mama, when I went to the stream to fetch water, people started running away. I asked a man that was nearby the reason for the running and he said that king John's son is coming".

Favour's mother held her mouth in awe and said," favour, hope he did not touch your pot of water?".

" No, mama," favour said, " I didn't even allow him to carry my pot. But, why mama, the way you are telling me this, is him and his father really evil?"

" Eh- henu!, Haven't you heard it from your fellow mates? He murdered please especially the maidens and offers them to the gods for rituals? He has killed millions of people in that village, okay, listen to me, favour ,I know that you are already ride for marriage but please, don't ever bring that man's son here and ask me for blessing ooh!"

Favour's eyes widened, "Ah- ah, mama, has it come to that? It can't happen and you know it".

* I'm just making sure", favour's mother cleared, " okwa ka m dikwa sure! By the way, food is ready in the kitchen".

"What did you prepare, mama?" Favour enquired.

Favours mother similed and said," what else than my daughter's favorite?"

Favour similed and ran to the kitchen.
