50 years after that glow Hunters were formed the alien race called the heathens attack the planet.The war between the glow hunters and the heathens lasted for a whole year. The participation of the epics in the war reduced the number of death by 40%.
The war between both parties led to a great loss to both the humans and the aliens.Although the casualties on the human side where more than that on the alien side.The heathens were a race that like to go for battles and therefore conquered a lot of other species.

All epics before the age of 16 would awaken their abilities.True extensive research on the age of 16 the government could help all 16 year olds to awaken their ability.If they do not are awaken any ability they are therefore termed as normals.
The normals are sent to the hunters Academy while the epics are sent to the Glow Academy.
