~ Bang~Bang~Bang~. That's the sound that brought Kael back to earth. Looking at his surroundings, Kael raises an eyebrow. " Who might that brute be?" He asks with annoyance . " Why can't you be more civilised huh you're gonna damage it." He yells while taking wide strides towards the door. He opened the latch keeping on the chain on. He looks through the gap only to be stopped by a slim slightly dark hand on his face.
" Open up Kael or else .."she says with flames of rage burning in her eyes. Looking at the burning eyes , drops of sweat form on Kaels forehead. ~clank~clank~clank~. The door is opened and he akwardly scratches his head. " Oh hey....fancy meeting you here so what's the occasion and shouldn't you be in school." He says trying to lighten the mood." School you say, tell me why have you been missing for three days straight huh..." The young lady lets all her frustrations out.
" Do you know what it feels like waiting for someone and they never show up for three days!!!" She yells while pointing at him with a shaky finger.
Looking at her Kaels eyes widen in suprise. " Wait what do you mean three days...what date is it today exactly..." He asks looking at his clock only to find the hands not moving . He turns back to Emily only to find her looking at him in shock. "Kael you're not serious right...you're not on drugs right...did sniff that vuduu shit sold in the streets right." She looks at him her face written the word I'm worried here shed some light. " Wait what vuduu shit ..tell me what date is it today Emmy ." He answers frantically.
Looking at his anxious face she sighs in dissaproval then shows him her phone indicating that it was on Saturday. Seeing this Kaels mouth drops to the ground. " Three days...it took three days and all I got were some party tricks." Kael laments from within at his lack of improval. " Wait don't tell me I'm the talentless extra in this timeline...no it can't be." His inner thoughts keep on going till he feels a soft hand on his face. Raising his head , a smile forms on his mouth " let me freshen up then take you out for breakfast." He says lightly . He takes her arm and ' invites' her into his room. Within the room Kael moves to his bathroom leaving Emmy alone in the room . Looking around ,Emmy scrunches her nose lightly.
" So this is a boy's room huh...mama always said Boyd are messy creatures ,seems like it's true."
She then folds her long sleeves and begins cleaning off the room like it was natural. " Sigh how can one be this careless." She says not noticing the figure of Kael looking at her well developed backside.
...Kaels pov....
After going through that kind of pain I thought it was all over only to find myself in this deep darkness. Looking around,something was different. Yeah flickering lights everywhere , they started as sparks but then they turned to torches lighting up this place. After the torches pillars followed beneath them giving off a creepy vibe, like why the hell are there pillars with torches on them.
Let's just hope that this ain't that ritual shitty staff I've been hearing about.
After sometime the glowing torches dimmed forming cards and that's when it hit me. This was part of my wishlist like why go running after bad guys without some OP magic artifact with you.
One must always have a trump card but I can clearly remember that this was just my after thought. But wait she did say that she granted my wishes even before I could state them. DAAAMN that conniving goddess after everything even I don't know the kind of wishes I made.
Putting that aside , if I remember it correctly the cards will only choose one that matches with it's characteristics and potential. So since I'm the first that means I can choose whichever I wanna. Hehehehe...king of hearts here I come , my ladies wait for me. He moves towards the glowing yellow card but stops as he feels something calling to him . Nonononono...this can't be happening to me I should be able exception,my king of hearts please..he thrashes around as he sees the other cards light dimming. Noooooiooooooi .....curse you lady fate why play with me you are better than that b**Ch karma . He kneels on the empty space with literal tears flowing like a river. Whyyyyy...I had the piece in my mouth but they took it away from me savages I say pure savageeees. His tantrum goes on for an hour till his tears dry up completely. I shall not forget.
Feeling the attraction from the card left behind, Kael let's out a deep breath then sits in the lotus position. Opening his eyes a card shimmering with colours that danced like flames ,changing every second as if alive . Around it'd edges ,symbols of all suits appearing blurred and reforming - diamonds,hearts ,spade and clubs- all contained within the Jokers limitless potential. Kael felt the pull and irresistible connection to this strange card. The jokers power coursed through him , binding itself to his spirit. Feeling the connection forming between him and his card a unknown sensetion courses through his whole body.
Diving deep into his ethereal body , a black card with a smiling joker on it appears glowing dark giving off information to it's host. " The Joker huh ...shoot this isn't fair..sob..sob..sob...wait it's not complete." Feeling something is off he closes his eyes focusing on the card. " Shoot...so I have to chip it off layer by layer...how is it even a trump card if I have to work hard..." Feeling that the card was locked off he throws a tantrum but then insights flood his brain making him groan and close his eyes .
" Illusions...that's the first layer ...what is an illusion, and illusion at its core is the distortion of reality .When what we perceive or believe to be true doesn't align with actual truth..." He was deep in thought but then ~ BANG~BANG~BANG~ His door is knocked.
