Chapter 1 - trouble maker

In a big city lived a young man named Michel. He appeared to be just an ordinary citizen living in a tiny apartment, but he was anything but ordinary. Michel had a unique talent—he could manipulate people's behavior and make them do anything he desired. One day, he left his apartment dressed entirely in black and donned an unbuttoned blazer. To complete his disguise, he wore an old man mask to pull off a scheme at the bank.

Arriving at the bank, he adopted the voice and mannerisms of a 70-year-old man, effortlessly fooling everyone around him. People were immediately drawn to the "elderly man," treating him with the utmost kindness. Even a group of gangsters saw him and quickly came over, helping him walk up to the bank guard to ask for financial assistance. A woman named Alyssa approached Michel and greeted him, "Hello, sir. How can I help you? Are you here to collect financial insurance?"

Michel replied, "Yes, I need financial insurance for a 70-year-old." He wove a believable story, saying, "My home is in terrible condition, and every time it rains, it floods, bringing alligators into my house since it's so close to the swampy river." Touched by his fabricated plight, Alyssa felt genuine sympathy for him, quickly arranging a $3,000 insurance payout to help him fix his house and live more comfortably. Michel accepted the money with a smile and left the bank, silently pleased with his successful scheme.

Once he was out, Michel took off the mask, reverting to his true demeanor. He then set off, intending to buy a highly dangerous pistol with the $3,000 so he could eliminate any police that came his way. As he walked through a quiet alley, he encountered four gang members armed with sharp weapons. The leader of the gang sneered, "Hey, who do you think you are, wandering into our turf? Anyone who trespasses here will be destroyed without mercy."

Unfazed, Michel ignored their threats, only provoking them further. Enraged, the four gangsters charged at him with their weapons drawn. As one weapon swung close to him, Michel coolly sidestepped, causing one gang member to accidentally slash his own friend's face, killing him instantly. Michel simply clapped his hands, entertained by the chaos he had incited. Growing impatient, he drew his pistol from his blazer and shot each gang member, one by one, until they all lay dead. One survived but was left crippled, crawling on his hands due to his injured legs. Michel reloaded his pistol and shot him in the head to finish the job.

As he walked away, Michel muttered, "How pitiful—you were so arrogant, but now you're lying dead by my hands. How pathetic." Michel left the alley and returned to his apartment, where he booted up his computer to browse the dark web for more weapons and illicit items. Michel had immense intelligence and had hacked the dark web systems, granting himself full authority over the platform. He once created a city-wide panic by spreading a rumor of a massive bombing that supposedly targeted every place in the city. This hoax drained government funds, causing a severe economic collapse and throwing the country into extreme poverty. The country even resorted to selling off land and military assets to survive. Later, Michel himself revealed it was a false alarm, making himself appear a hero even though he was the true mastermind.

However, this impoverishment left the nation vulnerable, prompting other countries to attack. Michel, who had foreseen this, had already moved to the attacking nation before the war started, where he quickly rose to the rank of general, orchestrating the assault and leaking vital data to ensure victory. This made him the country's most celebrated general and greatly boosted its economy. Michel thought to himself, "I can decide anything I want, because I'm smart." Yet, he had plans to control the nation of Horizon first and establish himself as the best, rewriting the history of Horizon along the way. He even altered ancient inscriptions, which originally read, "This is a land of peace and beloved by all," changing it to, "All who dwell here are the strongest, and we will be undefeated." Although some were suspicious, Michel's high reputation led them to believe his version without question.

Growing tired of his involvement in the nation's affairs, Michel devised a new scheme. "Maybe it's time for a little battle," he mused. Disguised in military armor and wearing the mask of Horizon's general, Michel entered the soldiers' gathering and declared, "I'll be eliminating you all." Shocked, the soldiers couldn't understand why their general had turned on them. Michel began firing at them one by one, evading high-speed bullets that were faster than a blink of an eye. His marksmanship was impeccable, as he aimed precisely at their heads.

The fight raged on until Michel pulled out a sword, igniting it to searing heat. Wielding it with skill, he spun and struck down each enemy, the scorching blade adding agony to his victims. When the battle finally ended, he moved on to his next plan. Michel discarded the armor and mask, donning his black attire and unbuttoned blazer once more.

He then made his way to Horizon's central agency, stating, "I have some bad news: all the soldiers have been wiped out." Shocked, the agents couldn't believe it. Michel continued, "But I have footage of the battle." He played a video showing a man in military armor ruthlessly slaughtering every soldier. Turning off the footage, he left the agents horrified by the brutal scene.
