Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Carrying Rice in Kusagakure, Blasting the Hospital

"Relax, I wouldn't do anything reckless. No one in Kusagakure can hurt me."

Naruto gently patted Kana's hand, removing it from his arm as he smiled softly. "You just watch. I'll make them pay for what they've done. As for you, all you need to do is wait and help me rebuild the Uzumaki clan."

"Huh?" Kana instantly understood and blushed deeply.

Though it seemed... not impossible.

In the world of ninjas, most large clans married within their own families to keep the bloodline pure. These relationships, however complicated, removed many taboos.

Kana hadn't expected that after everything she had been through, she would still be accepted.

"Mom, what does Lord Naruto mean?" Karin blinked in confusion. "Does he need our help with something?"

Kana gently patted Karin's head and smiled. "You're still too young, sweetie. For now, Mommy will handle it. If you want to help sooner, you'll just have to grow up first."

The thought of one day sharing Naruto with Karin made Kana's cheeks flush even more.

After all, Naruto was technically her sister's child, which made this even more... thrilling.

But everything was for the sake of the family!

Naruto, making sure they were safe, left behind a shadow clone to keep watch. His real body quickly vanished, reappearing on a high ledge overlooking Kusagakure.

"It's a pity I haven't mastered the Rasenshuriken yet. Otherwise, I'd be carrying rice sacks here right now."

Glancing at the modern buildings, which seemed even more advanced than those in Konoha, Naruto muttered to himself. Then, he called out to the Nine-Tails within him.

"Kurama, I need to borrow your Tailed Beast Bomb. I'm going to blow up Kusagakure's hospital!"

"Hmph, doing it for that woman, huh?" Kurama grinned, taking control of Naruto's body.

"Yeah," Naruto replied. "That place imprisoned them for so long. Destroying it will free their spirits and allow them to live without chains."

Kana had been brought back to life, but her past traumas still lingered. Only by turning the place that haunted her into dust could Naruto truly help her leave the past behind.

At that moment, Naruto understood why Luffy was so determined to destroy the room where Nami had been forced to draw maps for Arlong.

Tailed Beast Bomb!

Kurama, using Naruto's body, entered Chakra Mode and formed a massive Tailed Beast Bomb, aiming it directly at the Kusagakure hospital.

Naruto hadn't been in this world long enough to learn how to use the Tailed Beast Bomb on his own. But that didn't matter. With Kurama using it a few times, Naruto's body would soon learn to replicate the move on its own.

Boom!

The Tailed Beast Bomb smashed into the hospital, erupting in an enormous explosion that rocked the entire village.

Kusagakure's response was slow, considering the Tailed Beast Bomb only took a few seconds to form. The overwhelming energy had been radiating out for a while, yet no one reacted until it was too late.

Still, by now, they had realized an enemy was attacking.

"What... what just happened?"

"The hospital is gone! Who did we provoke?"

"Is this something a human can even do?"

"Is it a natural disaster? Or has one of the Five Great Nations declared war?"

Everyone who witnessed the explosion was frozen, their faces pale with despair. The ordinary villagers were already running in all directions, screaming in terror.

A red glow illuminated the sky, and a massive energy cloud hung over what used to be the hospital. The power of the Tailed Beast Bomb spiraled outward, making it impossible for anyone nearby to survive, let alone those inside the building.

From a hill outside the village, Kana watched with tears streaming down her face, covering her mouth to keep from sobbing aloud. She knew this was Naruto's way of avenging her, helping her say goodbye to the past.

Karin, on the other hand, didn't feel as emotional—she hadn't suffered the same way. But seeing the hospital reduced to rubble, she felt a surge of excitement, her tiny fists waving in the air.

The Tailed Beast Bomb's energy lasted for over ten seconds. When the light finally dimmed, the hospital was no more. Not even ruins remained. A massive crater now marked the spot, littered with a few scattered fragments of walls.

As for the people who had been inside... not even bones were left.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Finally, dozens of figures appeared around Naruto, who stood high above, calmly observing.

"You're the one attacking our village?" A middle-aged man, his face filled with rage, glared at Naruto. "I am Wada, leader of Kusagakure. I swear on my title, we will not let you leave this place alive!"

Around him were Kusagakure's elite ninjas—over a dozen Jonin, and the rest were masked ANBU, all of Chunin level or higher.

"So this is Kusagakure's full strength?" Naruto, still wearing his mask, glanced at them dismissively, feeling a tinge of disdain.

Although Naruto hadn't been training for long, with Minato's battle experience and his own golden chakra mode, anyone weaker than a Kage couldn't touch him.

These Jonin were nothing more than paper tigers. As for the Chunin? They weren't even worth mentioning.

Sensing Naruto's disdain, Wada's heart sank. He realized that this enemy was far more terrifying than he had imagined.

But even so, as the leader of Kusagakure, he couldn't back down.

"Even the smallest ants, when gathered in large enough numbers, can take down an elephant," Wada said firmly. "You may look down on our power, but we will show you that even if we all die, we'll make sure you leave a part of yourself behind! This is the will of the grass, and the resolve of every Kusagakure ninja!"

"But before we fight, I have to ask—who are you? Why are you targeting Kusagakure?"

The will of the grass?

Naruto scoffed. What a joke.

The will of fire and the will of stone were grand ideals, but here in Kusagakure, all they had was the promise of sacrificing lives just to scratch their enemies. How pathetic.

"Well, if you must know, call it a whim. Or maybe it was premeditated." Naruto shrugged, his voice cold. "Either way, the weak have no right to speak!"

Naruto's words enraged the Kusagakure elite. They knew they weren't on par with the Five Great Nations, but no one had ever dared to belittle them like this.

"W-wait! Leader!"

A burly Kusagakure ninja, dragging his injured body, staggered over, his voice panicked. "He... he's here for the red-haired mother and daughter!"
