I sat up with a sigh and stretched my tired body.
"Man, it feels like I slept forev-." My sentence was cut off as I took in my surroundings. It was as if I was sitting in the void of space. It was pitch black with a sprinkling of what looked like stars. The lethargic Haze I was in vanished as I gaped at my surroundings.
"How did I get here? The last thing I remember is that I was at a party with my friends. Did I get drunk?"
As I tried to reconcile that I seemed to be sitting in a vacuum of space, as if I was sitting on my living room floor, something appeared before me.
'Ding'
A transparent black screen with white text appeared in my vision, almost scaring me back into unconsciousness.
'An ancient soul known as an Archive of Eternity has been discovered and has met the requirements to inherit the system from the creator.'

After these messages, a flood of information entered my mind, clearing up many questions—first, the Archive of Eternity thing. An Archive of Eternity is a soul from the first universe, otherwise known as Earth. Another thing is that Earth's universe died many googolplexes of years ago *A/N: A Googolplex is a one that is followed by a googol of zeros, or in other words, 100 zeros* and has wandered the omniverse since then.
According to the knowledge given to me by the system, there have only been two such souls: the Creator of the omniverse who left the inheritance and me. The other soul, the original 'All-Father,' has been looking for me ever since he created the omniverse and felt me wondering inside of it. Still, he could not locate me since my soul was older than his, even though it was only by a decade.
The 'All-Father' Ended up destroying himself as he tried to envelop the omniverse inside his soul; why did he try to do such a thing even though he knew it might kill him, you ask? Well… it's because he thought it sounded cool… which it does. I might have to try that. But only when I know it won't obliterate me if I do.
Anyway, I went back to the system messages, I gained a lot of skills, but what truly excited me were the five skills I would get from the system shop.
As I thought, the screen changed to the shop. It had different tabs for different universes, many of which I didn't recognize. Still, many I did, such as Bleach and Dragon Ball Z. One Piece, had each devil fruit as a skill and many more.
I don't know how long it took me to sift through the skills, but I finally got five that I thought would be perfect.
The first was [Magi-tech eyes], which allowed me to control technology through magic as long as I could see it. It also included sub-skills like [thought acceleration], [parallel thought], and [mental blueprint].
The second one was [Shinigami], which gave me a Zanpakto spirit, spiritual power, highly advanced sword mastery, and many other techniques used and mastered by shinigami. I still need to learn my Zanpakto abilities, but I look forward to finding out. As a side effect, it also unlocked my spiritual energy, which, according to the system, is incredibly vast, seeing as how my soul is older than the omniverse and spiritual power comes from the soul.
The third was [All Of Creation] from Naruto, which is pretty useless right now as you need to understand the composition of something to create it. I do not have any analytical skills, but I plan on fixing that when I get the next chance to get skills from the system. I got it now instead of later because [All Of Creation] is a potent ability that I would not be able to get until way later in the inheritance.

Now that I have my new skills, I wanted to see if there is a Status screen. The original All-Father designed this system after the fictional systems back on Earth. So, with that in mind…
"Status!" I shouted… But nothing happened.
"Man, I'm glad no one was here to see that." I flushed from embarrassment.
"But what's happening? Do I not have control of this system? Oh! Maybe it's a mental command?" The system had gone to the shop screen, which was just a thought from me before. And just like I thought, the black screen appeared in front of me again.
