Armin feeling like he had no other choice, hoped that his horse would run faster, he did not want to die like this.
"Come on...faster, faster," He said as he hoped to outrun the female titan, he could practically feel the titan's footsteps right behind him.
He could tell that the female titan was gaining on him with every passing second, he could hear the heavy thumping that was caused by each and every single one of her footsteps.
Oh...he was so going to die, no matter how he looked at this, he did not see how he could possibly survive this.
As the female titan reached him she stopped, her gaze seemed to be where the middle of the crew should be located, as if she was making an estimation.
The female titan then rushed past him and ignored him as if he did not exist.
Armin was left stunned....why did she not want to follow him?
Sure he was thankful about it but... what could possibly force her...

Armin eyes widened, it all clicked, it all came to him at once, the reason that the female titan wanted nothing to do with coming closer to him.
It wasn't that she was scared or not interested in killing him...no, he was within range.
Armin was within Akira's range....the words that Akira had told him that day looped in his mind over and over again.
The words about the collosol titan being aware of his eyes, the words of a traitor being among the cadet.
It all made sense now.
Making some quick mental math, Armin was trying to narrow down who the female titan might be.
He knew it was a member of their cadet squad and since the titan inherited the shifter gender, the female titan was a girl.
Eren Titan had his hair color.
So....The cadet must be a blond.
It could not be Krista...so that left....
Before Armin could make up his mind.
Reiner's voice came from behind him and said "Armin...are you okay"
Armin still shaken a bit, just nodded his head, the both of them did not slow down at all cause you know...50 fucking Titans were behind them
"I came as soon as I saw your smoke signal" Reiner added to which Armin added.
"She is like Eren....she is a titan shifter"
Reiner looking at the boy had a look on his face that could not really be described.
"What made you think so?" Reiner asked his fellow cadet.
"She shows signs of obvious intelligence....she came toward us with a horde of titans, as if she was trying to hide from something...to be more specific, someone sight"
Reiner had a cold sweat running behind his head.
"Are you certain?" He said looking at the boy.
"I am sure....she is aware of Akira's sight and considering the fact that Akira had only revealed his secrets to some member of the 104 cadet squad..."
"Who do you have in mind" Reiner asked seriously.
"Annie"

There was a horde of titans behind them....if Armin's horse got into an accident and fell, his fate was practically sealed...Reiner could argue that he ran for his own life.
Though before anything like this could happen. The soldier decided on another course of action.
"Akira's useful eyes have spread far within the military.... wouldn't it be too rash to jump to conclusion" Reiner advised.
Armin hearing this nodded his head, oh yeah, he forgot, his eyes were not that much of a big secret, anyone within their group was aware to some level that Akira had better vision than most...however, Akira's range wasn't infinite.
The female titan was aware of Akira's range, meaning she had to be there when Akira had revealed it to the member of the cadet present.
Which still did not remove the suspicion from Annie.
Before anything too drastic could happen, the special force was there, Levi infront alongside the rest of their member.
Akira could be seen with his byakugan activated.
Reiner whose hand was near his mouth immediately lowered it.
Scary.....to think that Armin launched his flare only 5 minutes ago, the fact that the whole squad seemed to be there only meant one thing.....
Akira had noticed the female titan even before Armin had launched his flare...a cold sweat fell down the soldier's neck...The boy's range was increasing every single day.
His Byakugan looked strangely pure.....
Levi jumped off his horse and activated his ODM gear and so did the member of his team. Akira took out about 10 needles before throwing them.
Each time a titan attempted to grab a member of the special division, they were unable to move as a needle embedded itself in their neck.
Watching this all godown, another chill rained down Reiner's neck....such precision and from so far away.
Akira provided the perfect assist even from a safe distance away.
With his Byakugan activated and with Levi going around like a Beyblade, the 50 Titans were taken care of within minutes.
All of them were slain by the corp within minutes.
3 minutes at best.
"You not too bad," The strongest soldier that humanity had to offer said looking at Akira.
Akira took that as a compliment.
Petra looked just a bit amazed, to think that a needle not even bigger than her middle finger could work so well.
To that, Akira answered by saying, "Size really doesn't matter, it all on how you use it"
He felt like he gave some men some hope with that speech but oh well."
The girl was pretty chatty, probably because he was somewhat within the same age range as her.
If he remembers she was 22, and she recently turned 22...neat.
And he was 15....mentally 20, so yeah, roughly around the same age.
She was pretty no doubt, Krista was still prettier though.
Maybe it was his bias speaking but oh well.
Akira then made his way to Armin.
"You okay," Akira said in a slightly worried voice as his Byakugan gazed at the boy.
"I am fine," Armin said embarass, something about being looked at by those eyes deeply embarrassed him.
"Stay still a bit," Akira said, Armin did as he was told and Akira proceeded to open some of Armin's tenketsu points just momentarily.
In that one moment, Armin felt like lightning was coursing through his veins, just for a slight moment, he was standing in the middle of a desert with a strange blue tree in the background.
The next he was back to reality, his body felt new.
"Cadet report," Levi said looking at Armin.
Armin memory was as clear as day, he was able to tell Levi exactly what had happened, down to the most minute detail.
When he was done...he felt the rush end and everything went back to normal, he looked at Akira to which Akira just opened his mouth and said.
"I just opened up the Tenketsu point in your brain for a bit, so for the 5 minutes you were giving your report your brain was working at 120% of its natural ability, you temporarily had perfect memory has your brain recalled any memory that may have been flushed away by fear or something"
As those words left his mouth, Armin stood there stunned...wait he could do that.
As Akira noticed the look he was getting he opened his mouth and said. "It's only temporary, it's not something I can do over and over again without your brain being overworked, it has a decently long cooldown, like a day or two"
Well that made sense, still that didnt take away about how busted that was.
Making some perfectly remember everything...everything, for a second there Armin had somehow remembered how it felt like to be in the womb....
