Akira was seen punching the tree over and over again.
The tree seemed to possess some holes in it, and Akira seemed to be punching the same spot over and over again.
Sweat dripping down his body, he did not care about the strain on his body, he wanted to learn a move that would work as an absolute defense.
He had a specific move in mind.
Closing his eyes he began the process.
Veins could be seen around his eyes, he was getting ready for something.
He started to perform a kata over and over again, moving his body around in a circle as if to get familiar with the motion.
He then calmed down a bit before he started to spin around, as he spun his body around, he made sure to expel chakra out from his Tenketsu points.
As he spun around, he kept this process going, overtime what seemed to be a dome of chakra/life energy energy could be seen forming around him.
He sped up even more and the dome became more robust.
After 5 seconds, he stopped and fell on the floor first completely drained of any form of energy whatsoever.
He could barely even utter a sentence.
He had used the move once and he was done.
Krista watching this scene from afar couldn't help but be just a bit amazed at the dome, it was fun reading about it in books but actually seeing it in person, it looked even more impressive than she could have ever imagined.
However, she was brought back to earth and out of her musing when she saw the state that he was in.
Feeling a bit worried for him, she walked to his side.
"Are you alright"
"I...can't...move..." Those were the only words that came out of his mouth, he had used every ounce of life energy that he could muster in that one move.
Sure he would recover it with time but as of now, his body was too drained to do anything.
"Is there any way I can help you?" She asked softly.
"I...need...rest" He managed to utter before she nodded her head.
She picked him up and tossed him over her shoulder, as she took one step forward she seemed to be struggling to even walk.
Meanwhile, Akira was mentally telling himself.
'I am not that heavy...am I now?'
Each step she took seemed like she was carrying something her small little frame couldn't hold on to.
"You don't have to push yourself..." He added calmly, she just gave him a soft smile before saying.
"No...I am fine..."
"I can do this"
Each step took about 10 seconds, sweat fell down her face, and it felt like she was carrying the heaviest thing ever.
Akira was feeling self-conscious at this rate....could he really be that fat?
Like sure he was a bit heavier than the average child but that was because he exercised a lot and ate a lot of food to help his body develop.
As he continued to see her struggle, it then hit him that up until he had adopted her, she was practically only eating about once a week...and even then it wasn't a very fulfilling meal.
Her body did not develop enough for this...he would need to start feeding her bigger portions and get her to do some exercises to help her develop.
His gut instinct was telling him that she wanted to join the scouts for some reason.
As she dropped him on the bed...she fell on top of him gasping for air.
Well dam, he wanted to pat her head but his body felt way too sore for him to do shit.
She went to the kitchen before coming back with some water.
She looked at him and noticed how he looked...oh yeah, he didnt even have enough energy to move on his own, it wasn't like he could move now to drink some water.
She placed her hand behind his head before placing the bottle of water infront of his lips.
She then slowly started to feed him a slow gulp of water, and she made sure he swallowed the water each time.
Waiting about 5 seconds between each gulp before feeding him some more water.
She seemed rather caring, wasn't that sweet.
"Don't push yourself so hard" She added softly looking down at his current state.
"...I have to..." he mutters while only being half conscious.
"It's okay to have breaks, you do not have to force your body to the limits every"
"They all died.....I am the only one left...I don't want their technique to vanish with me...I want to inscribe it in my bones...I want them to be remembered"
It was quite obvious that he had passed out a while back and what she was hearing was his true inner thoughts.
"I am right here," She said as she held his hand softly.
"I won't forget it, I promise," She said softly as she held his hand.
Her eyes seemed to glow with determination as she looked at the body of the boy lying on the bed.
She felt compelled to help him and be there for him.
