Lucian's eyes widened as he gasped for air, struggling to catch his breath after being slammed to the ground with unexpected force from his leap.
Clenching his jaw, he shifted his gaze upward towards Lucifer, who loomed over him, his entire figure radiating a golden glow as he pinned Lucian firmly into the snow.
"How do you know this?" Lucifer demanded, his voice sharp and fierce.
With his right hand keeping Lucian immobilized, he raised his left hand high.
A shimmering spear began to materialize within it, crackling with energy.
Without hesitation, he plunged it directly toward Lucian's eyes.

Lucian quickly jerked his head to the side, narrowly dodging the strike meant for him.
However, his reaction was delayed just enough for the sharp edge of the spear to slice through his earlobe, drawing a small but telling trickle of blood.
