"Your Majesty, do you believe any word they said?" a beta asked, looking at alpha Darius, who was lost in thought as I rode his horse slowly ahead.
"We have known her since she was little, so I don't think the princess is what they say she is," another replied, turning his head to the first speaker.
"Perhaps they have harmed the princess, and we should be turning back; we must attack," another chipped in, showing off his sword, but Alpha Darius remained silent, not hearing even a word they said.
The two betas whom Kade had tasked to go and call Alpha Darius earlier drew closer to him and wondered if it was right to tell him what they knew.
One cleared his throat, "Your Majesty, a few days ago, when the army went to Camelot on their return, Beta Jonah came and informed the council that a princess transformed into a dragon in their midst and destroyed both our men and those of Crystal as well."
