"Kade! Kade! Kade, wake up!" Arianna's voice echoed in the room as she shook Kade's arm. Alpha Kade stirred, rubbing sleep off his eyes vigorously. His ears began to pick up the sounds of numerous footsteps outside the door.
Looking around, his eyes met those of Arianna's. A warm smile formed on her face as he looked at her. "You're awake," he spoke, his voice rough with sleep.
"Yes, my love," she said, "your men are ready." She added.
Alpha Kade looked at her, confused. He hadn't asked them to do anything, and the sun wasn't even up. The only sound around them, aside from the whispers from outside, was the sound of the crowing cocks.
"To prevent the Camelot soldiers from finding out about our true intentions, we must go and search for Merlin's tomb quickly." Arianna explained, as the alpha sat up and tried to make sense of why she would wake him up at such an ungodly hour.
