Chapter 22 - 22. CAMELOT

The battlefield was uncomfortably quiet, except for the occasional groans of injured werewolves and the crackling of scorched trees. The scent of smoke was hanging heavy in the air as Alpha Kade staggered to his feet. He groaned as his face scorched from the dragon's fire, was brushed by the rushing wind. His vision was hazy, and his movements were slow, but his sheer willpower forced him to stand upright. "Those cursed dragons will pay for this. I will kill every last one of them." He swore as he looked around. Burnt up vampires laid around in ashes, some of which had begun to be spread around by the wind while the bodies of some of the werewolves who had died broke his heart as he looked. They had paid with their lives for trying to bring peace into the world and they had to be avenged; all of them.
