So, how did I end up under a woman who's… completely naked?
I must be dreaming, right?
But no matter how much I blink, the warmth of her skin and her steady breathing feel real. My heart is pounding like crazy, and my thoughts are all over the place. Who is this, and why is she in my house?
As I try to push her off me, she suddenly wraps her arms around me, pulling me closer. Her body heat is almost overwhelming, and while a part of me finds it... appealing , but I wasn't about to lose my head.
"Alright," I murmured under my breath. "This has gone on long enough."
I whispered, trying to wake her.
"Hey… who are you?"
She stirred, yawning like she'd just woken from the nap of her life.
"Hey there, cutie," she said, her voice teasing.
"Cutie?" I muttered, narrowing my eyes. "Okay, seriously, who are you? Why are you naked? And why are you in my house—on top of me?"
"Relax," she said casually, propping herself up on one elbow.
"It's me, Bella," she says, like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"Bella?! You're alive? I was so worried about you!" Relief washes over me, but before I can say more, she grins mischievously.
"Yup," she replied with a smirk. "You probably can't see me clearly in the dark, but don't act like you're not enjoying this. I can feel your—"
"Stop. Right there," I cut her off.
My voice softened despite myself. "I thought you were gone."
She grinned. "Aw, were you worried about me? That's adorable."
Before I could reply, she leaned in and kissed my cheek. I froze, unsure how to react but I can feel my face heat up as she continues.
"Yeah, it's weird being back in physical form but here I am!" she said, climbing off me.
Bella sits up and stretches, still completely unbothered by her lack of clothes.
She flipped the light switch, and I winced at the sudden brightness. She was standing there, completely naked. I turned away, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Bella. Hoodie. Closet. Now," I said, keeping my tone firm.
She chuckled. "You're so cute when you're trying to stay composed. Fine, fine."
I risked a glance as she pulled on the hoodie. Her curvy figure and striking features were hard to miss—light green eyes, bright brown hair, and a confident smirk that made her look older than she probably was.
She was taller than me, too. By a few centimeters, maybe.
She noticed me looking and raised an eyebrow. "Like what you see?"
I blinked, feigning confusion. "Huh? I wasn't—what? No idea what you're talking about." I waved my hand vaguely and quickly changed the subject. "Anyway, how are you human now? You were a cat minutes ago."
"Is that your way of Changing the topic?" she smirks
I go silent, and she laughs at my awkwardness. "Relax, I'm messing with you," she says, leaning back casually. "But seriously, I think I can switch between forms whenever I want."
"That's… good," I said, exhaling in relief. "Because I can't have a random woman living in my house."
"Random?" she asked, placing a hand on her chest as if I'd insulted her soul. "After everything I've done for you? You've got your new cats powers now because of me! And you're calling me random?"
I hesitated, scratching the back of my head. "Okay, fine. That was harsh. Sorry."
She crossed her arms, her expression softening but only slightly. "I mean, I thought we were friends. Guess I was wrong."
"We are friends," I said quickly, already feeling the guilt creep in. "Which is why I'll set you up with my sisters. I'll tell them you're a cat I adopted. You'll be comfortable there."
Her lips curled into a pout as she looked away dramatically. "Oh, sure. Just toss me out like some stray. Never mind I don't even know them, and they don't know me. I'll be so alone."
I sighed, rubbing my chin. "Bella, you're not going to be alone."
She glanced at me, her eyes shimmering with mock hurt. "It's fine, really. I'm used to being treated like this."
I groaned. "Alright, fine! You can stay in my room. But no sleeping on top of me."
Her pout instantly vanished, replaced by a triumphant smirk. "Deal."
I blinked, realizing I'd been played, but she was already heading to claim her spot.
