(Kenshi POV)
The snake had fainted so I carefully picked them up and took them to an empty habitat
After locking it I began to look through my books for their species
But after an hour of looking I couldn't find anything
With their unique look I assumed they were a dungeon snake
So I had went into the back to go some mice as dungeon snakes could eat almost anything
When I returned the snake was awake and staring at me intensely
"Uh could you back away from the glass so I can feed you please" I asked
Doing so the snake slinked into the back corner
*whew*
I unlocked the window and threw a mouse in there before closing it again
'Feel like I'm forgetting something…eh whatever if it was important I wouldn't have forgot'

(Baem POV)
Baem looked at the admittedly handsome human as he went away
"I should check on the other snakes, they might be hungry" He said
She watched him go around to each of the habitats and check on the snake
'Who has he been blessed by' she wondered as she used her goddess vision to sense wich divinity he was connected to
'Huh'
She checked again
'He isn't connected to one?'
'How is that possible all humans are compatible with multiple gods'
'Unless he is the one out of seven billion they must have overlooked him' she thought
She rubbed her head against the glass window opening it realizing he forgot to lock it

(Kenshi POV)
Taking care of the snakes I felt something crawl up my leg
I froze
Looking down was the albino snake
'Shit oh shit oh shit I'm dead please don't kill me danger noodle'
The snake kept crawling up until it was right in front of me
'This is how I die…' I thought with a gloomy expression
But nothing happened
The snake just rested on my shoulders and didn't bite me
"Eh"
The snake fell asleep like that
'Wtf am I supposed to do now?! This has never happened before'
I carefully started walking into the back room where I had a spare bed
'I'll just set them down and hope they don't bite me'
'Can't do much else in this situation.'
Laying them VERY carefully i slowly backed away then the snake opened their eyes and looked directly at me
I'm an instant it tail wrapped around my neck and pulled me into the bed
'Shit,shit,shit please be a non venomous snake' I thought waiting for a bite that… never happened

(Baem POV)
As I layed on his shoulders I felt… warmth
And I slowly drifted off to sleep
Then the warmth vanished
Groggily I opened my eyes and saw the warmth back away
Quickly dragging it back I went back to sleep soon afterwards
******
And so they layed there, a human without any powers and the goddess of snakes
One hyper aware of what was happening around him the other sleeping peacefully
After an hour or so Kenshi resigned to his fate and went to sleep praying to whatever deity may be out there that the snake wouldn't kill him
