Huh? what was that sound?

"There's a dungeon that suddenly opened nearby so we have to evacuate and fast! shit! you can never really trust the news."
A dungeon? but why here? and he said it's nearby? so that cracking dound that I heard was a dungeon opening? I have a bad feeling of this. Why is my heart racing all of a sudden?
"Let's go, we have to hurry or else the dungeon might explode soon."
After going outside, we were met by a swarm of people rushing to the safe zone— a safe zone is where civilians evacuate if a dungeon suddenly opens in the vicinity, It is surrounded by a s-class barrier that keep lower rank monsters from going inside.
We can already see the safe zone after running for about 10 minutes. Even if it's just a 10 minutes run, I'm already getting tired, my feet felt numb, I want to rest. My apartment was picked by Kyro and he really made sure that the apartment was much closer to the safe zone.

I can hear and my mind is clear but my body is not listening to me. It's like there's something that's pulling me. I was heading towards the cracking sound.

My footsteps slowed down and stopped in front of the dungeon that's slowly revealing itself. Kyro is still grabbing my hand and pulling but I didn't budge even a bit, he tried every means to pull me but it's no use so he stayed beside me and waited for the reinforcement. It's dumb, really, being stuck here just because I can't control my body, and now I even dragged Kyro in this mess.
My mind was in turmoil, I was silently praying that the reinforcement will arrive soon. And the weirdest part of this situation is that my heart keeps on throbbing since earlier.
I really must be scared right now to even have a heartache.

The dungeon is opening but where the hell is the hunters responsible here?! are they really taking their sweet time- huh? HUHHHH?!?! A HAND?! but it looks like a human hand, should I help them get out?
In the small gaps in the dungeon, a hand was sticking out and trying to widen the gap. If I don't stop that bastard, all the monsters will all swarm out and Kyro might really die at this point because of my stupidity.

My head shot up, hearing a raspy sound coming from inside the dungeon, the voice send tingles to my body, like it's been electrified.
Strangely his senses are focused solely on the person opening the dungeon that he didn't even realize the unconscious Kyro at his side. He felt a vague pain in his heart, that he can't even explain what it is.
I never anticipated something or someone like this before.
As the dungeon finally opened up to an extent, the first thing I saw was a black boots that's covered with I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like... blood? the next thing I saw was a body that looks like it's been carved by the God's.
Thanks to this person's clothes that fitted him right like it's been designed just for him, I can clearly see the broad shoulders, the toned muscle, and tall figure.
"what are you looking at?"
Again, my head shot up by that raspy and devoid of emotions voice of his. My breath hitched at the sight of his face. All I can say is damn, he's gorgeous. He's ridiculously handsome, is he God himself?

I gritted my teeth and tried to endure this annoying piece of jerk. The man jumped down from the entrance of the dungeon and walked. He looks like a ruler the way he walks, his footsteps are elegant and gracious yet it carried a dominating aura that everyone bows down to. I can't look away even for a second, I want to carve every inch of his movements in my brain.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't even realize that he's gotten so near to me. His face is too close that I can feel his breath glazing at my face. I can also see his facial structures now that he's close to me, from his thick eyebrows, to the fierce shape of his eyes companied with his dark dark red eyes and even his thin lips looks majestic. My mind's in turmoil right now, I can't even think straight.

Damn, I keep getting startled today, this is far from my usual self. I'm rather calm than this, but why is my heart beating so fast? damn him and his utterly ridiculous handsome face.
