Chapter 10 - Amethyst Flame

The sun rose high over three volcanic mountains, making the heat worse on the black slopes. Naviga stood watch, sweat dripping off her body in the intense heat. Her white dress clung to her figure, highlighting her curves, while her body odor mixed with the heat. She looked striking against the black ground but did not care about her appearance. Her attention was on the fierce fight between Minerva and the Infernal Raven.

Minerva was getting worse. Her body had fresh scars, and her red satin dress was torn. One thigh was bare, and part of her breasts showed through her damaged red bra. Her left arm was burned, with the fabric completely gone. She panted heavily, exhausted, but her cold eyes showed determination.

The Infernal Raven looked much better. It had only a few minor injuries: a cut on one wing, a severed claw, and a gash on its left claw. Despite this, the beast looked powerful.

Minerva took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. The heat pressed down on her, but she felt something shifting within her—a better understanding of fire. With each clash, her connection to the flames grew stronger, and she realized this fight was making her tougher.

Naviga held her sword tightly, ready to jump in if needed. She scanned for threats, especially from Phantom Cult members, but saw nothing. She wanted to help Minerva but respected her wish to face this challenge alone. Yet, her instincts told her to stay alert; the Infernal Raven was a strong enemy, and the fight could turn at any moment.

Both women stood in the harsh heat, determined to fight until the end.

Minerva stared at the Infernal Raven. The beast had put her in danger. She knew she would lose if the fight continued like this. Determined to change the outcome, she quickly grabbed a healing potion from her space ring and drank it. The pain from her wounds faded, and her scars began to heal. She felt less tired but still had some fatigue. Without waiting, she drank a Universal Essence Refinement Potion to restore her energy.

She focused on her soul point. Suddenly, a sharp sound rang out from inside her, and energy surged through her body. The heat around her seemed to yield to her power. Her crimson blade, the Scorching Tyrant, changed before her eyes. Its fiery red color turned brilliant purple, igniting with a fierce flame. This was the Amethyst Flame, a rare and powerful fire ranked third on the Heaven and Earth Flames list in seven sky universe.

The Infernal Raven hesitated when it sensed this new power. Even though it was not smart, its instincts warned it of the flame's danger. Fear showed in its red eyes, but its anger took over. With a loud screech, the raven charged at Minerva again, its claws glowing with fire.

Fueled by rage, the Infernal Raven attacked Minerva. She stood strong, her purple-flamed sword ready to clash with the beast.

Minerva prepared as the Infernal Raven attacked. She responded with her sword FIRE BREEZER ART:Blazing Phoenix Reversal, the Amethyst Flame lighting up like a snake, wrapping around the bird's claw. The heat burned the claw, making a terrible smell fill the air. The Infernal Raven screamed in pain, its loud cries echoing through the mountain.

Taking her chance, Minerva struck again. Her sword, covered in Amethyst Flame, cut into the beast's soft spot below its right wing. The flames burned the flesh, causing the Infernal Raven to feel disoriented. It cried out in pain and flew higher, flapping its large wings.

But the fight had tired Minerva. She quickly drank a potion from her ring to restore her energy.

From above, Naviga shouted, "Miss, that was amazing!" Minerva smiled briefly, but there was no time to rest. A loud screech pierced the air as the Infernal Raven dove down, opening its mouth to breathe fire. Minerva lifted her sword, pouring her energy into the Amethyst Flame to create a shield. The fire hit the shield, but the Amethyst Flame absorbed the attack.

Unfazed, the raven shot fire five more times, but each burst was stopped by the strong purple flames. Inside the shield, Minerva breathed heavily. The volcanic heat, once overwhelming, now fueled her thanks to the Amethyst Flame. Still, she knew the Infernal Raven had one last trick—its glowing orange horn.

As if sensing her concern, the beast tilted its head, its horn shining brightly. With a deep cry, it lowered its head and shot a powerful beam of fiery energy. Minerva's barrier glowed brightly but couldn't hold against the force of the blast.

The beam broke through the Amethyst Flame barrier and hit Minerva directly, sending her flying backward. She crashed through the mountain, making a huge crater. Dust and smoke filled the air, hiding the battlefield as silence followed.

Naviga, watching from a distance, felt her heart race and cried out, "Miss! Are you okay?!"

The smoke grew thicker, and Naviga anxiously run to her mistress . Meanwhile, the Infernal Raven hovered above, its glowing horn ready for another attack. The battle was not over.

Minerva's condition in the crater was bad. Her red satin dress was torn, leaving her body mostly exposed. Her skin had severe burns and charred patches on her arms and legs. Her right shoulder was dislocated, making her sword arm almost useless. Blood oozed from deep cuts on her thighs and stomach, staining the rocks around her.

Her left ankle was broken and twisted, and her breathing was hard, each breath causing pain. The armor she wore was broken, its cold runes gone, leaving her hot in the volcanic area. Her lips were dry and cracked, and her body shook from dehydration and tiredness.

The right side of her face had burns and a swollen eye that was nearly shut. Her chest breathed unevenly, showing bruised or broken ribs, and blood dripped from her mouth, hinting at internal injuries. Despite this, she still held her sword, Scorching Tyrant, though it shook from weakness.

The Amethyst Flame inside her flickered weakly, no longer a strong fire but a small ember. Still, even in her broken state, Minerva's spirit stood strong. Her eyes, red and filled with pain, still showed a spark of stubborn defiance.

Minasa watched from above. She admired Minerva's strong spirit and stubbornness. Even against a powerful enemy, Minerva fought hard, showing her strength as the heir of Medure. Minasa noticed the determination in Minerva's eyes. Her spirit was unbreakable, even when things looked bad. Minasa felt satisfied watching her miss.

Meanwhile, Naviga hurried down into the crater to Minerva. Her heart raced with worry when she saw how hurt Minerva was. Crawling to her side, she said, "Miss, I'm coming. Don't get up anymore," her voice full of concern.

When Naviga reached Minerva, who was in a bad state, she quickly took out a healing potion and helped her drink it. The potion worked, and Minerva's wounds started to heal, but she still felt very tired. Naviga had only seven potions left and knew she needed to save them.

Then, a loud roar echoed from above—the Infernal Raven was not finished yet. It let out a furious roar, ready for another attack. The Raven, angry and determined to kill them, lifted its head and charged its horn. It unleashed another beam of orange fire.

Even though the Raven had already used its horn beam once and was low on energy, its rage clouded its mind. The beast fired the beam again, sending it toward Minerva and Naviga.

Minasa felt a surge of anger as she saw the Raven preparing for another strike. She was worried for her little sister, Minerva. She wanted to jump in, but then she saw Naviga take charge. The maid held her sword tight and pulled out a talisman. With a burst of energy, the talisman created a barrier against the incoming attack.the talisman is micro-level.

Naviga, her eyes focused, faced the Infernal Raven. "Miss, I'll fight here," she said, calm but determined. "You can sit and watch. I know you're strong, but I'm your maid and ally, so I will protect you."

Minerva heard those words and felt stunned. Then she smiled faintly. "Okay, you can fight it, Navi. But be careful—it's really powerful."

Naviga nodded. She was focused on the Infernal Raven.

Minasa was ready to strike but stopped. She watched her little sister, her precious Navi, step forward to face the enemy. Minasa was afraid Naviga might get hurt, but she knew that avoiding tough battles would hold her sister back. If Naviga didn't confront strong foes, she wouldn't become the expert she was meant to be. Also she want her sister sword dance like when she training her.

Minasa's protective nature softened. She stepped back, her eyes filled with worry and pride. She looked down at the battlefield where her little sister was about to fight the deadly Infernal Raven. She felt proud, even as her heart ached with concern.
