Chapter 45 - Divorce Of Jung Da-Jung

Soon, we reached his home. I saw Jung Da-Jung holding a box and a vaping device. I instantly realized that Hong Shi-Ah must have been caught with a vape at school, and Jung Da-Jung had found out about her smoking and decided to throw away the vaping device.

Jung Da-Jung saw Hong Shi-Woo and me, and with a smile, she said, 'Hong Shi-Woo, you're back.' Turning to me, she added, 'Vlad, you're here too.'

I greeted her and replied, 'Yeah, Hong Shi-Woo and I just got back.'

Hong Shi-Woo, listening to our conversation, asked, 'Do you two know each other?'"

Jung Da-Jung looked at me and explained, 'Yeah, I met him yesterday. He helped me and your aunt Choo Ae-Rin by giving us a ride home.'

Hong Shi-Woo looked at me, said 'Goodbye,' and headed upstairs.

Jung Da-Jung turned back to me and asked, 'How are things at school? Are you making new friends?'"

I listened to her and realized that, since I had mentioned coming back from America, she might be concerned about me feeling uncomfortable here.

I looked at her and said with a smile, 'Yeah, everything is going well. I've made many friends at school.' I decided to tell her about Hong Shi-Woo's selection for the team.

'Today was really awesome,' I continued. 'Hong Shi-Woo and I passed the basketball tryouts.'

Jung Da-Jung was thrilled to hear about her son's achievement and said, 'Really? He didn't tell me anything.' She looked at me and added, 'Congratulations on your selection, but don't slack off just because you got picked. You still have to practice hard.'"

I looked at her and said, 'Yeah, I'll be working hard. Hong Shi-Woo and I have made plans to practice basketball after school.'

Jung Da-Jung was pleased to hear this and said, 'Okay, both of you have to practice hard.'

Soon, I saw a woman enter. It was the actress Vladena had hired to marry Hong Dae-Young. She walked up to Jung Da-Jung and asked, 'Are you Jung Da-Jung?'"

Jung Da-Jung looked at her and nodded, unsure of what the actress wanted. The actress, sounding angry and agitated, was performing her role quite convincingly. She asked, ''Is Hong Dae-Young your husband?''

Jung Da-Jung was taken aback by the mention of her husband's name and asked directly, ''What's this all about?''

Jung Da-Jung glanced at me, and I could tell she didn't want me to be there. I took the hint and said, ''It's getting late, so I should go home. Goodbye.'' With that, I walked away."

As I walked along the road, I saw a greasy old man approaching. He walked past me, and I recognized him as Hong Dae-Young. Activating my invisibility, I followed him.

He led me back to Jung Da-Jung's house. I saw Jung Da-Jung and the actress still outside, Jung Da-Jung's eyes red and filled with tears.

When Jung Da-Jung saw Hong Dae-Young approaching, she said angrily, 'How could you do this? How dare you face me and your children after what you've done?'

The actress looked at Jung Da-Jung and said, 'I was divorced by my husband after he found out about me and Hong Dae-Young. I want Hong Dae-Young to take responsibility for me.'

Jung Da-Jung looked at the actress, pity in her eyes. She said, 'It looked like he was forcing you and asking for sex in the video.'"

Jung Da-Jung looked at the actress and asked, 'What do you want to do with him?'

Hong Dae-Young, growing anxious, interjected, 'Jung Da-Jung, please listen to my explanation.' But Jung Da-Jung cut him off sharply, 'Shut up! What kind of explanation can you give for this?' She showed him the video of his encounter with the actress.

Hong Dae-Young was stunned by the video and fell silent. Seeing her cue, the actress performed her role flawlessly, 'I am now divorced by my husband. He forced me out of his house, and I had nowhere to go. I asked your husband to take responsibility and marry me, but he said he was already married."

Jung Da-Jung looked at Hong Dae-Young and stated firmly, 'We are divorced. Tomorrow is the final hearing. Even if you don't come, the divorce will proceed.'

She continued, her voice steady and resolute, ''It's over between us. There's no going back now. Don't come near me or my children anymore. You need to move on and live your life with her,'' she gestured towards the actress, emphasizing her point, ''and for once, stop running from your problems. Face them head-on and take responsibility for your actions."

Jung Da-Jung turned away and headed upstairs, leaving Hong Dae-Young standing there, looking defeated and lifeless. After a moment, he silently left with the actress, the weight of his actions bearing down on him. I watched them go, knowing that pursuing Jung Da-Jung now would be futile. She needed space and time to process everything. I decided it was best to leave her alone for the time being.

I made my way back to the villa, canceling my invisibility as I entered. To my surprise, I found the living room filled with numerous boxes. Recalling Ok Hye-In's love for game collections, I realized that these must be the items and character merchandise I had asked Vladena to purchase.

Using my telekinesis, I began to unbox them carefully, arranging each piece in a dedicated room to create an impressive gaming collection display. I took my time, ensuring each item was showcased perfectly, hoping that this would bring some joy to Ok Hye-In's life.

I took out my phone and dialed Ok Hye-In's number. When she answered, I asked, ''Could you please send me your address? I have a surprise for you. Be ready in about an hour, and I'll come pick you up.'"

After ending the call, I swiftly changed out of my magical attire and into a formal outfit more suited for a date. I headed out to the garage and started my Rolls Royce, eager to see Ok Hye-In.

As I pulled up to her address, I saw her standing there, waiting for me. She was dressed beautifully, her hair cascading down her shoulders, looking incredibly alluring in her outfit. I took a moment to appreciate her appearance before parking the car in front of her.

I stepped out of the vehicle and walked around to the passenger side to open the door for her. With a gentle gesture, I helped her into the seat. Once she was settled, I looked at her and said, ''Teacher, you look absolutely stunning today."

'Thank you,' she replied softly, then asked, 'Is it okay for you to drive? I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble.' I assured her, 'Don't worry, I've already gotten my driving license, so everything is fine.'
