Chapter 173 - Chapter 173

A calico cat appeared in Nina's line of sight.

"Meow!"

Nina was the first to meow, and the cat responded with its own "meow."

Just like that, Nina gained control over the black cat—her very first ability.

The calico cat moved closer to Killua's location while Nina and Lisa followed from a distance.

Killua remained completely unaware of their presence.

At this time, despite undergoing the rigorous training of the Zoldyck family, Killua was still limited by his young age. He was only a little over six years old.

The first three years of his life involved minimal training, and formal instruction only began when he turned three.

This was why it would take Killua another two years to earn a ticket to the 200th floor of Heaven's Arena.

Ron, however, had reached the 200th floor of Heaven's Arena in a much shorter time, without losing a single match.

Meanwhile, Killua had already lost several times. (t/n to be fair Ron is several years older, so it is an unfair comparison)

Nina was currently around the 150th floor, but that was without using her Nen abilities. If she were to use them, she could easily obtain a pass to the 200th floor.

As for Sally, she was a C-level Nen user, making her far stronger than Nina.

Right now, Killua is much weaker than both Nina and Lisa.

Nina and Lisa observed Killua from afar.

"He looks so small like he's only six or seven years old."

"At that age, competing in Heaven's Arena alone—how could his parents allow this?"

"Speaking of which, what's his connection to Big Brother?"

Nina couldn't help but speculate.

"The Captain said he doesn't know this kid. It's probably just part of a mission," Sally explained.

Meanwhile, Ron rested for a while. Once he recovered sufficiently, he stood up and checked the time.

"An entire day has passed."

"Before I finish for today, I should try combining Ren with my full power."

"The result should be much better than simply using full strength."

Ron hadn't refrained from using Ren earlier because he didn't want to, but because using Ren at full power made recovery exceedingly difficult. Hence, he had saved it for the end.

He steadied himself, closed his eyes, and calmed his breathing.

"Ren!"

A surge of aura burst forth from Ron's body, blazing like a fierce flame.

The energy overflowed endlessly.

Compared to earlier, the aura around Ron now was much denser.

He had refined his life energy to its peak.

Of course, this would leave him in a weakened state for several hours afterwards. Full recovery might not happen until the next day.

"Ko!"

"Zetsu!"

"Ten!"

All of his aura focused on his right hand. Using Ko, Ron compressed the energy into a glowing, orb-like shape.

"Bang!"

The ground in front of him sank even deeper.

Silva watched Ron with astonishment.

Suddenly, an idea came to Silva's mind.

"I didn't expect Ron's aura to reach such a level. That means he's capable of handling that mission."

"Boom!"

An incomparably powerful Nen bullet shot from Ron's hand, striking a distant ruin.

The rubble exploded under the force of the Nen bullet.

Countless fragments of the building scattered, leaving a massive crater in the ground.

The destruction was comparable to the destructive punches Uvogin unleashed in the original storyline.

A strong recoil surged through Ron, nearly throwing him off balance. He used his full strength to stabilize himself.

A wave of emptiness and exhaustion washed over him.

Taking a deep breath, Ron said, "Uncle Silva, let's head back."

"Alright," Silva nodded.

The two of them moved toward Heaven's Arena.

Ron's aura and stamina began to recover during their journey, though the process was slow.

That day's training had consumed an extraordinary amount of energy.

However, the results were equally significant.

Never before had Ron achieved such effective training results in Heaven's Arena.

---

"Ron, I'm heading over to Killua," Silva said.

"Alright, Uncle Silva," Ron replied.

Silva dropped Ron off at the entrance of Heaven's Arena.

Ron took the elevator up, and by the time he returned, his condition had slightly improved.

As a contestant in Heaven's Arena and a member of the TST Floor Master group, Ron faced little risk while inside the arena.

"Captain." Shizuku greeted as Ron entered, hastily ending her training.

"Shizuku, call the kitchen and order some food—meat, carbs, fruits, and vegetables. Make it three servings for now. If you're eating too, order for yourself as well."

Shizuku paused for a moment before nodding.

"Got it."

Ron collapsed onto the couch, letting his entire body relax into the cushions.

Not long after, Silva called.

"Ron, I've arrived. You can tell your people to pull back now."

"Understood."

After hanging up, Ron called Nina.

"All clear, Nina. You and Lisa can return."

"Got it, Big Brother," Nina replied cheerfully.

Before Nina and Lisa arrived, the kitchen staff delivered the food first.

Ron sat at the dining table and began eating merrily.

Although his eating appeared elegant, he was astonishingly fast.

For regular people, slow and thorough chewing aids digestion and is considered the healthier approach. But for Nen users, this didn't apply.

Every Nen user, regardless of their category, undergoes physical enhancement, whether actively or passively.

After enhancing his physical body, Ron applied aura not just to his skin, muscles, and bones, but comprehensively—even to his organs.

This allowed him to eat quickly without worrying about digestion.

With each large bite, his stomach secreted gastric juices, efficiently breaking down the food.

While humans naturally have limited digestive efficiency, Nen users, thanks to their aura-enhanced systems, maximize nutrient absorption from food.

As the meal filled Ron's stomach, he felt his aura and stamina recovering at a faster pace.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

A knocking sound came from the door.

Shizuku opened it, and Nina and Lisa walked in.
