Gwen's eyes slowly widened when she looked at their faces properly, realised this girl was speaking the right thing.
Now, ignoring the hairs, eyes colours, and dress, they just looked like the other girl was her, just with the eyes shut. Well... If ignoring the fact that Gwen looked a little unkempt too, comparing to Ameera.
But not miding the last difference, Gwen gasped in awe and said, "Wow! You are right! We do look so similar!"
Ameera opened her eyes, and removed the handkerchief from her head and giggled, "Hihi... See! I said that you and I look so similar! Hehe!"
Gwen nodded her head as her eyes shine, first time witnessing something so amazing. And she giggled.
Just then the cat in Gwen's hand meowed, catching Gwen's and Ameera's attention back.
Ameera chuckled and said, "I... I wasn't really kidnapping the cat. Well, i did think of taking it with me, but only if it did not have any owner. But then I saw the collar. Actually, I was seated in the carriage, when I saw her being scared by two dogs. Therefore, i cam for help!"
On hearing her, Gwen's eyebrows shot up in surprise and she nodded her head in understanding. She even felt a little embarresed as slightly bowed her head and said, "I am sorry, for my earlier mis understanding. I thought maybe you were taking Pearl away."
"Hehe. I did have that thought for a moment." Ameera said as she stuck out a little bit of tongue playfully and both of the girls laughed.
Just then, Ameera's hands fell on the packet that Gwen was holding on the other hand and she asked curiously as she pointed at it, "What is that?"
Gwen followed her gaze and saw that Ameera was pointing at her muffins and she answered with a smile, "Oh this! These are muffins!"
Muffins! Ameera blinked, as she remembered the last two cookies that she gave away to the doggies. Those were yummy. She thought in her mind.
And Ameera heard Gwen continue, "Mrs Smith baked these. And she gave me these today, as my birthday gift!"
Hearing that, Ameera blinked in surprise and exclaimed, "It is your birthday today?" And on seeing her nod, she laughed and clapped her hand, "It seems we not only share the same face but also the same birthday! It is my birthday too!"
Hearing that, Gwen was equally surprised too! How matching! And not knowing how to react, the girls laughed again.
Gwen then raised the packet and asked, "You would like to have a muffin? They are very, very yummy!" She said with shiny eyes.
Ameera looked at the muffins in her hand and gulped. It would be a lie to tell that she was not tempted to say 'yes' right away. After all, she could smell the light sweet scent of the muffin waft into her nose, watering her mouth.
But the next second, she decisively shook her head and said, "No. No. That is your birthday gift. How can I take it. You enjoy." She said shaking both her hands. Though the little Ameera felt it a little hard to tear her eyes away from the muffins. They look so nice!
And well, it was a known fact in the castle, that the princess was a little sweet worm! She liked anything sweet and desserts, like how a butterfly likes flowers.
But Ameera tried to be resistant here.
Seeing her shake her head, Gwen persuaded a little, "It's alright. You are my friend, and as it is your birthday too, then please take it as a birthday gift from me."
Ameera blinked her eyes and asked, "Are we already friends?"
