Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Martial World

'Okay, where and what the fuck is this?'

Just looking at my surrounding old and rusty wooden house seemingly would break any moment.

Panic eventually surged my mind, overwhelming my curiosity.

Who wouldn't? Waking up in the middle of nowhere at the top of that at this old house that looks like a horror house in the movie IT!

As my eyes move to my body, looking at the frail and slightly pale hands, a thought crosses my mind that every reader guesses by now.

'Yep, fuck goodbye my normal life.'

Suddenly a vicious pain came from his head like a hammer continuously hammering his head. He clenched his teeth and held his head tightly, but the pain even more intensified.

An image appeared to his eyes, an old man saying something, but he didn't understand it because the pain was weighing on his mind.

He fell in the ground, clenching his head, then the image appeared again, but this time he barely saw the picture and some rumbling of that old man saying.

He could not resist the pain, seemingly wanting to swallow his consciousness, but he knows if he passes out, he will surely die.

'Swallow me? just this mere pain? bring it on!'

'I just woke up in this world I was just sleeping in my room earlier but now i am in this shit situation.'

Any normal person would react strongly about this well some people will probably like this situation after all this is another world who wouldn't want to enjoy this moment?

Time felt endless as the images grew sharper and the voice became clearer—he could even make out some of its words. But he couldn't be bothered with that now; his focus was consumed by the relentless pain in his head.

After hours of enduring the hellish pain, he felt a sudden poking sensation in his head, followed by a wave of relief washing over his mind.

It felt as if he were back in his childhood, happily savoring his first and favorite meal. Sleeping peacefully, free from the worries of adult life.

Closing his eyes trying to feel that weird sensation again.

The pain was overshadowed by the weird sensation making his body float, while a strong wind destroyed the wooden house surrounding him, making him look like a little tornado.

Unaware of the changes in his surroundings, he tried to feel that strange sensation. As he became immersed, he lost all sense of his own body. The small tornado swirling around him began to grow, expanding outward as if it intended to consume everything before him.

The sky, already dark, grew even blacker, swirling ominously above his head. Shadows twisted and expanded, casting an eerie dread over anyone who looked up. Who wouldn't be terrified? Massive tornadoes tore through the darkness, and thick black clouds spread rapidly across the sky, suffocating the surrounding landscape.

A hundred kilometers away, an old man was sitting quietly, deep in meditation, when he suddenly felt a heavy pressure in the air. With a simple wave of his hand, the weight disappeared, fading as quickly as it had come.

A powerful force swept through a hundred kilometers, filling the air with a terrifying pressure. Humans and beast felt it, their instincts telling them to bow in respect. Only a few, the Immortal Ascension Stage masters, could stand strong against it.

"What a terrifying pressure is someone trying to breakthrough that mysterious realm? could be the someone from yang family?"

He quickly dismissed the thought, wondering why the Yang family, one the strongest family in this world, would choose to attempt a breakthrough in this area.

Besides this is far from capital, the border between Great Han Dynasty and Ash-Grey Cloud Evil Land.

"I'll go take a look," he muttered, vanishing from his spot. In an instant, he had located the source of the pressure.

The other nearby immortal ascension-stage cultivators who sensed the pressure had the same thought and quickly flew toward its source.

Around 6 Immortal Ascension stage masters gathered at the source of the pressure. Despite their cultivation levels, they could feel the terrifying force washing over their bodies.

The other immortal ascension masters wasted no time, quickly retreating while the three peak immortal ascension masters remained, their gazes fixated hungrily on the figure at the center of the swirling tornado.

Few are aware of the "mysterious realm" above the immortal ascension, so the three individuals quickly retreated. There was no need to risk their lives for mere crumbs, especially with three peak-stage immortal ascension masters present. They chose to remain cautious, backing off to observe the unfolding scene.

The figure was shrouded in swirling black clouds, rendering its appearance impossible to see. When they attempted to probe with their divine sense, they were immediately repelled, and the three weakest immortal ascension stage masters, suffered severe backlash to their divine senses, causing them to collapse. In desperation, they resorted in taking precious pills, struggling to suppress the injuries to their divine souls.

They certain this person is simply a hidden master, with no organization or sect backing If so, why would that person choose to attempt a breakthrough here?

If only they knew—the one undergoing the breakthrough was merely a young man, someone who hadn't even started cultivating and had only just awakened to this world!

The masters considered stealing that person secrets if he failed to break through, or even attacking him during the attempt. But as they looked at the towering black tornado, their confidence wavered, and they chose to hold back and wait.

Back at the black vortex at the center of it, a white figure could be seen sitting in lotus position.

He opened his eyes to see a clear blue sky above and calm, sky-blue water below. Looking down, he noticed his body was half-transparent, making him look like a ghost.

But that wasn't all. At the center of it, floated a red, sphere-like object, hovering calmly. He felt a strange familiarity with it and reached out to touch it. Instantly, the image of the same old man he seen earlier appeared before his eyes.

"I am the Guardian of the Great Wall. For your soul to appear here, despite the countless protections and limitations of this place—a mere human soul, no less—is truly admirable."
