Chapter 2 - The Call To Action.

As they start to gather to fall out Chan Jeol tests his sword and checks if the small knife on the side of his ankel. The armor that he was given was only a chest piece that looks already worn out. As he slides his palm over the silver metal one of the aigents in the front of the line speeks.

"Everyone clear on the plan?" The guy shouts acrost the field.

Chan Jeol nods along whit the other men.

He looks up at the sky trying to see if he can make out the moon or stars. But the lights blocks his view.

"Are you ready aigent?" Eun woo walks up to him whit a tall skinny aigent by his side.

"Missing some beauty sleep, but what can you do?" Chan Jeol shrugs, slitly shifting his stands from the cold air that flew on his limbs.

"Hm, clearly needed." The skinny aigent chuckels.

"Right thats enough." Eun woo interrupts Chan Jeols next sentence, which is maybe for the better. Chan Jeol and the skinny aigent turns to look at him.

"Remember, i think Ms. Hwang only wants to do good. She is dangerous but only if shes backed in to a corner, or when she feels threatend."

"Right!" Chan Jeol turns back to face Seong Min who is now shouting at some poor aigent who made a mistake for dopping a mug in the mud.

As much as i woud like to trust Euns Woo judgment, i still dot like him. Eun woo seem to be on the path that Ms.Hwang in someone good, but after reading the file i dont think will trust her much myself.

"Aigents!" Seoung Min shouts inturupring his toughts. "Line up straight!"

Eun Woo starts to walk back to the camp.

The skinny aigent stand by Chan Jeols side as Seong Min stand infront of the line of men.

"Ok. To go over it once more; we drop you off one kilometer from Ms.Hwangs location.

You will make your way to her, i gave Bill specialy made collar that shoud make her powers stop working." He points at one of the first bufft men."Good. Bill and some other men will attache the collar. And Hebl will atach the custom made shackles to her wrists."

"In theory" Chan Jeol mutters. Dr.Minho Seojin explaind that the collar and shackles will only weaken her powers, that he made from there observaition.

"And you two." Seong Min looks at Chan Jeol and the skinny aigent."I dont want you interfering. We have traind for this months. Remmember your place. Am in clear?"

Yes sir." Chan Jeol and the skinny aigent mutters.

"Good. Greer is in charge so follow his lead. Gree once you have Ms.Hwang secured radio it in."

"Understood, sir." Says a buffed, tattooed man in the front of the line.

"Ok. Get in the van, and good luck."Seong Min says and steps back and the line starts to move to a van.

Soon as all the men are in, including Chan Jeol the vans motor starts on. All the men stand by the sides looking ready like its the life goal. Chan Jeol look out before the door closed and he saw Seong Min walking back to camp as Eun Woo watches them depart.

Greer hand them all a small earpiece. Chan Jeol puts it in and he hears a small pop as he adjusts the size. No one spoke through the entirety of the car ride, which didn't last wery long. The van soon made a right turn and stoped.

"Alright, move out, team." Greer says in the earpiece and it sound perfecly clear through Chan Jeols earpiece. And one by one the men jump out of the van. When the men were all out the van door shut and it drowe off.

They arived in a big clearing, surrounded by tall, old pine trees, and darkness. Out here, they coudnt smell sweat nor mud anymore, just the clear mountain air. The moon is nearly full, casting a ghostly shadow on everything around when it emerges from wisp-like clouds. It's a still night, there's barely a breeze. The silence is deafening compared to the cacophony of the basecamp.

"Gather round." Greer says, and they gather in an imperfect circle. "OK. I know we are clear on our mission. Everyone is clear on their job? Good. It should take us about twenty minutes to reach Ms.Hwang." Greer checks there location which emerges as a holographic map from a watch-like contraption around his thick wrist, illuminating there faces in a green shine. "Yes. Straight towards that mountain." He says, glancing up at what looks like Mount Wundagore. Chan Jeol shivers slightly.

I know of the historic significance this place has, and wonder if that precisely why Ms.Hwang has chosen to relocate here. Curse her for not choosing a lovely tropical beach somewhere in Thailand, for example.

"And you two," Greer says, his deep voice ringing in the silence. Pointing to Chan Jeol and the skinny aigent. "You stay between Fareng and Kelley on the walk there. Then, I want you to stay the heck out of our way. I don't know your names, I don't need to know them nor do I want to. If it were up to me you would be far from here."

"Lovely," Chan Jeol mutters. "Don't sugar coat it."

"I don't give a care if your feelings are hurt. All I care is to get this women once and for all." Greer spits. "Let's go.

And with that, they fall in position, silently following Greer in a line as he leads the way through the dark trees. Silence presses in from every corner, only the occasional huff or mutter or break of a twig under a heavy boot pierces the silence. Chan Jeol lowers the night vision goggles onto his eyes as the moon disappears behind a heavy cloud, casting everything into darkness.

For twenty minutes they walk silently through the woods, the mountain ahead of us only towering larger and more ominous above our heads. As Chan Jeol begins to think we must have gotten lost, Greer lifts his left hand in the air, causing us to come to a halt.

The forest has thinned out, allowing them to see a huge lake in front of them. It's dark and still, unmoving. Chan Jeol follows a small river to the left which leads towards the mountain. And there, around five hundred meters ahead of them, next to the river, is a small, dark cabin, contrasted against the snow-covered foot of the mountain behind it.
