It was a split-second decision for Arslan which made him say that. He knew it wasn't part of the plan he and Ryder had made before where they would try and take Moe by surprise, but he had to improvise. He hadn't expected to be talking directly to their target, not to mention being pressed by him.
Arslan was aware of his own skills and powers, but Moe's reputation made his heart race just enough to push him into this conversation.
"Is that so?" Moe said, gripping the gun tucked at his back. "What brought you here then?" he asked, his tone shifting as he sized Arslanand Ryder up.
Arslan, aware of what Moe had at his back, glanced at Ryder, whose eyes were wide with readiness for any movement coming from the big guy. Arslan sighed before he responded, "150k reasons that brought me here."
Moe's smile widened at the sound of that. "So that old man still wants his money, even when he got no use for it from behind bars?"
