Synopsis

Chapter 1 - Ylva

Her mind was made up. She has already gone through a lot. She refuses to suffer ostracism continuously.

Her family has dug her through the mud throughout the years.

She had no one to turn to, everyone laid their backs on her .

Her father was the only one who showed an ounce of sympathy and it was for self gain. Being naive and only a child she clinged unto him and supported him in every way she could....

This caused a great rift between her and her mother, her siblings would often bully her, in some cases even beat her until she'd bleed.

Her mother chose not to listen to her plea , assuming she was over reacting with herd father's seed of immorality.

She has grown with pain inflicted to her physically and mentally.

In Angola, the government can't help much, it is a country brought up in nepotism.

Church? Church was the last place to seek refuge, they wouldn't believe a twelve year old spoiled girl.

Years have gone by, Ylva had grown to be a young woman...she has been a bright student ever since her days in kindergarten.

She was an exceptional student with high grades allowing her to attend the most prestigious middle school in the province.

Ylva was exited to study kilometres away from home, she concluded that it would help her relax during the six hours of school labour.

Little did she know it would drastically impact her life.

As brilliant as she was, she always kept an aloof manner , reserved and never partook of the type of sick era today's generation display.

Her humble yet dominant aura evoked both good eyes as well as bad eyes.

Eventually she fell in love with a young man in her class and started dating... after a year in the relationship she got pregnant, she confronted her partner and he had neglected the responsibility demanding her an abortion.

Ylva refused and parted ways with Eric the father of her child.

She had loved him blindly to forgive him every time he treated her badly, he was toxic and unfaithful. At the time, Ylva was only sixteen years old.

Ylva's father had also left the house, he eloped with his mistress.

Everything seemed to be crumbling, Ylva's mom was unable to bank both her and her little sister, her husband no where to be seen.
