3 years later
The 13-year-old boy sat frozen his eyes vacant and his face pale. He mechanically knocked a pen against the table the rhythmic tap the only sound breaking the silence. Suddenly the bell rang shrill and loud making him jump. His eyes widened and he gasped his breath catching in his throat. The pen slipped from his fingers clattering to the floor. The boy's gaze darted around the room his expression a mix of fear and anxiety as if haunted by unseen demons. The boy hastily stuffed his belongings into his backpack his hands shaking with urgency. He rushed out of the classroom he go straight to his home and go to his room and slamming the door shut behind him. He locked the door his breath coming in ragged gasps as if escaping a nightmare.
Its been two weeks since nash and paz marriage.
Paz's eyes sparkled with
happiness as she gazed at Nash. He had been the perfect partner, showering her with love, attention, and affection. Every moment they spent together was magical and Paz felt like she was walking on air.
But one day without warning, Nash's behavior changed. He became distant, cold, and detached. Paz tried to brush it off, thinking that maybe he was just stressed or tired. But as the days went by Nash's behavior only worsened.
One evening as they sat down for dinner Paz confronted Nash about his sudden change
she said :Hey, what's going on? You've been acting really strange lately. Is everything okay?
Nash's expression turned icy, and he sneered at Paz
he said : You really don't know, do you? his voice dripping with malice he said :I married you for revenge, Paz. You were just a pawn in my game. And now that I've got what I wanted, I'm done with you."
Paz's world came crashing down around her. She felt like she'd been punched in the gut she said : What...what do you mean?
she stuttered, trying to process Nash's words.
Nash said : I mean that I'm going to leave you in three months.
his eyes glinting with cruelty
he said : And there's nothing you can do to stop me.
Paz's eyes welled up with tears as she stumbled to their bedroom, slamming the door shut behind her. She collapsed onto the bed, sobbing uncontrollably. How could Nash do this to her? She thought they were happy, that they loved each other.
But as she lay there something inside Paz sparked to life. She realized that she couldn't give up that she had to fight for her marriage for her love. She wiped away her tears and took a deep breath determination coursing through her veins.
From that day on, Paz made it her mission to win Nash back. She cooked his favorite meals, wore the clothes he loved and tried to be the perfect wife. But no matter what she did Nash remained unmoved.
He would come home late at night, reeking of alcohol . He would say cruel things to Paz making her feel worthless and unloved. But Paz refused to give up. She kept trying, kept loving kept hoping that one day Nash would see the error of his ways and come back to her.
As the days turned into weeks, Paz's resolve only grew stronger. She was determined to make Nash fall in love with her again no matter what it took. But as she looked into his cold, hard eyes she wondered if she was fighting a losing battle.
One day Paz was busy in the kitchen she preparing dinner but suddenly she felt a wave of nausea wash over her. Her stomach churned and her legs began to ache. She tried to shake off the feeling, thinking it was just a minor bug but it only intensified. She stumbled over to the couch collapsing onto the soft cushions.
As she sat there she felt a creeping sense of dizziness. The room began to spin and her vision blurred. She tried to call out for help but her voice was barely a whisper. Before she knew it everything went black and she slumped forward
unconscious.
Twenty minutes passed, and Nash walked through the front door expecting to see Paz busy in the kitchen. Instead he was met with an eerie silence. He called out for Paz but there was no response. He quickened his pace, his heart racing with concern.
As he entered the living room he was shocked to see Paz slumped over on the couch unconscious. He rushed over to her, shaking her gently trying to rouse her.
He said :Paz, wake up! Oh God, please wake up!
But she didn't stir.
Nash's worry turned to panic. He quickly scooped Paz up in a bridal style cradling her in his arms. He rushed out of the house, speeding to the hospital. His mind was racing with worst-case scenarios, but he pushed them aside, focusing on getting Paz the help she needed.
As he burst through the hospital doors, he was met with a flurry of activity. Nurses and doctors rushed over taking Paz from his arms. Nash watched helpless as they whisked Paz away to the emergency room. He was left standing alone, his heart heavy with fear, praying that Paz would be ok He paced anxiously outside the examination room his mind racing with worst-case scenarios. Finally, the doctor emerged with a warm smile.
He said : Congratulations, Nash.Your wife Paz is pregnant.
Nash's expression softened, and a hint of joy flickered in his eyes, but he quickly suppressed it. However, Paz noticed the subtle change in his demeanor he asked to doctor:How much time has passed since the pregnancy?
Doctor said : its been 2 weeks since pregnancy and i suggest you take care of her because she looks stressed and its might hurt baby so please be careful.
Nash noded and they return home .
As they returned home, Nash's behavior transformed. Now He arrived home early, bearing Paz's favorite foods and desserts. He refrained from his usual hurtful comments, instead offering gentle words of encouragement. Paz sensed the shift in Nash's attitude and a glimmer of hope ignited within her. Maybe, just maybe this baby would bring them closer together.
