For three days they chanted scriptures, and for another three days they listened, leaving everyone in the Merciful Hall ravenous.
Master Wu Chen sat silently for a moment, then rose and walked out of the Merciful Hall. At the doorway, he turned to look at Xie Tian, wanting to ask something but ultimately held back.
"What exactly does he want to do?"
"How should I know?"
"Aren't you the one who boasts about knowing ninety-nine percent of everything?"
"Hah, that Xie Tian is the remaining one percent." Immortal Wind laughed heartily, glanced at the bewildered Crazy Old Man, and calmly said, "Even with my wisdom, I can't figure it out. Stop puzzling over it. Xie Tian's mood has always been very calm, his eyes never showing mockery. It's certainly not as simple as wanting to mock Master Wu Chen."
