Chapter 13: The Beginning of the Clan Meeting

After all, it is just a dead object.

Uchiha Madara was deceived, more because of his reasons.

Masashi's interest in the stone tablet only stayed on the surface, without any intention to go further. When Masashi came to his seat lightly, Shisui had already kneeled there one step ahead and saw Masashi coming.

Shisui also smiled slightly.

Masashi nodded in response.

Masashi was originally planning to say something.

"Da Da Da Da Da!"

Suddenly.

A low and dense sound of footsteps came from the entrance of the basement. Almost in an instant, several figures stepped out of the passage. The leader's sturdy figure and extremely solemn expression caught the eyes of all the Uchiha clan members present.

All these people's expressions tightened.

The person who came was the supreme leader of the Uchiha clan, Uchiha Fugaku.

As long as he did not encounter opposition and impeachment from more than five or six of the eight elders, Fugaku could almost decide on any matter of the clan with a single word. He was the head of a clan with both prestige and strength. This is why Fugaku could repeatedly suppress the resentment of the clan in the original book.

Even when the resentment of the clan grew and reached the point where a coup was inevitable, those clan members still did not dare to directly attack Fugaku. Instead, they wanted to force Fugaku and force him to join the coup.

From this point of view, it is enough to prove how high Fugaku's status, prestige, and power are in the Uchiha clan!

When Fugaku stepped in.

The several figures that followed him were the most staunch supporters of Fugaku in the clan, including Uchiha Yasuharu, Uchiha Kazuma, Uchiha Chie, Uchiha Tsubaki, etc.

These people not only have the strength of at least a jonin but also hold corresponding important positions in the security department of the clan. They can be said to be Fugaku's most loyal and reliable subordinates.

If the plan is not smooth.

It leads to the fact that Masashi has to deal with Fugaku, the clan leader.

How to deal with these people is also a big problem.

These people are the most solid force in the Uchiha clan.

Of course, these are all later stories, and Masashi doesn't believe that the situation will get that bad. Masashi believes that the reason why Fugaku in the original book chose to die later was because he completely lost the initiative and the clan was on the verge of complete extinction.

For the sake of his two sons, he chose to die generously.

If it wasn't like this, Fugaku had planned to use the clan's burial to save his two sons from the beginning.

"Then you are the eternal sinner of the clan, Uchiha Fugaku!"

Masashi watched Uchiha Fugaku, who stepped onto the main seat and knelt in the middle of the eight elders, thinking silently in his heart.

"Are all of you here? The reason for calling you here this time is because of the friction between our Konoha and the Hidden Cloud Village on the northeastern border. The sudden increase in the number of troops of the Cloud Ninja has brought great pressure to our northeastern border. This morning, the Third Generation summoned the clan leaders of our major ninja clans to discuss the number of troops to be sent out. This is a major issue concerning the clan, so I want to listen to your opinions at the clan meeting."

Fugaku, who stepped onto the main seat, naturally didn't know what Masashi was thinking. At this moment, he was thinking about the conflict between the clan and the village, especially this special conscription order. To be honest, Fugaku himself was also shocked when he heard it at the beginning. He felt that in this special situation.

No matter how the Third Generation considered it, he would not say to dispatch the Uchiha clan to the front line, right?

You must know that the suspicion of their clan has not been cleared yet.

Therefore, Fugaku was also inclined to believe that the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, had a special intention in this call.

He wanted to refuse directly.

But he couldn't seem to find any reasonable excuse to refuse.

Fortunately, this was not something that could be decided directly in one meeting. All the major ninja clans needed to go back and negotiate with their people to determine the proportion of troops that could be sent. Fugaku naturally followed the crowd and immediately held this secret clan meeting after returning to the clan.

More or less, these clan members knew some of the details. After all, these people were all senior ninjas, and each had a certain degree of intelligence source channels. Only Masashi was still wearing the "Chunin" sign.

So, when Fugaku finished speaking,

None of the forty or fifty clan members showed any surprise.

Some people frowned.

Some people sneered.

Some came directly with dissatisfaction and anger.

"Hmph! Do you want to drive us to fight while doubting our clan? What a daydream!"

"Yes, I think it's better to refuse directly. Our clan is responsible for the village's security and has no such obligation! Now is not the war period!"

"That's right! Chief, I think we must show our strong will and not let the village manipulate us at will!"

"There is no such good thing in the world!"

In every clan meeting, there will always be the most hot-tempered group of clan members who jump out first to vent their dissatisfaction with the village. In the three or four clan meetings that Masashi participated in, this has become a common occurrence.

But most of these people are just venting their anger and disappointment.

There are almost no constructive opinions in the true sense, including the so-called "coup." Not to mention this life, even in the original work, until the Uchiha clan was destroyed, no one proposed a feasible and complete "coup" plan. From beginning to end, these clansmen have been shouting slogans and venting their dissatisfaction.

This is also what Masashi is most disappointed and worried about.

With only power but no brains and still shouting "rebellion slogans," isn't this what he deserves to be destroyed?

Therefore, Masashi finds it difficult to trust his group of "companions," and this is the biggest reason why he has to act more cautiously.

These days.

He is not afraid of good opponents.

He is just afraid of pig teammates.

At the top, when Fugaku heard the resentful words of these clan members, "No matter how many changes they make, they remain the same," he seemed to have no change on the surface, but in fact, he sighed helplessly in his heart. It was not something he could do alone to change the plight of the clan.

But now in the huge Uchiha clan.

He can't even find a reliable person that he can trust and consult with.

This has to be said to be a very sad thing.
