In the 1102nd year since the founding of Yunlai Empire, the thirty-third Emperor, Long Ao, was a ruthless tyrant who practiced the Bloodthirsty Demon Art, wantonly killing members of the Imperial Family, court officials, and innocent citizens. To resist the tyrant, several dozen factions from different regions raised banners of righteousness, prepared to march on the Imperial City, and sought to slay the despot, amongst which six factions were predominant.
The first faction: from the east, General Dong Ao Cang Xie.
The second faction: from the south, King of the South Shi Jintian.
The third faction: from the west, Western Grand General Liu Ying.
The fourth faction: from the north, Beiling King Long Wei, the half-brother of Emperor Long Ao from a different mother.
The fifth faction: from the northeast, Prince Xin Long Xin, the Commander of Yunlai Empire's Hun Fei.
The sixth faction: from the northwest, Prince Chenn Long Chen, the Northwest Desert King Elder Changqing.
