Shi Feng's gaze fell upon that Demon Wolf of Hee Xuan's, and though it was only a Third-stage Beast, Shi Feng found something quite unusual about it.

Seeing Shi Feng draw near, the large Demon Wolf seemed to grow afraid. It kept its eyes on Shi Feng while its body retreated backward, and a distinctly human-like expression of panic appeared on its ferocious wolf-face.
The more Shi Feng observed, the more interesting he found the situation. This Third-stage Beast was truly different. Normally, a Third-stage Beast's Spiritual Wisdom would be very low, scarcely different from that of a common wild beast, yet Shi Feng sensed that this one had awakened its Spiritual Wisdom.
