Here's the thing, buying me coffee makes me set my priorities for you all, lovely readers, no homo.
So buy me a coffee, and I would give u more chapters, and obviously give me powerstones too.
I have my patreon too. Here's the link:
patreon.com/MrFlashXO
There are 3 tiers set up in patreon.
The lowest tier is Watcher and it costs around 3$ a month. What would be the perks? U would get to read the chapters in patreon ahead of the webnovel. And not one or two chapters. But around 10-12 chapters ahead.
The mid tier is Warper and it costs around 7$ a month. What would be the perks? U would get advanced chapters as the watcher would get, plus Fan requests could be made, which would be fulfilled in the novels.
The highest tier as of now is the Legendary ARCHITECT and it costs around 15$ a month. This has the most perks. U would not only get advanced chapters. Not only fan requests. U can play a great role in the novel itself. U would also get a special side story. That won't be available for the other two tiers. And there would be other benefits added later as the number of patreons and readers increase.

CHAPTER TWO
"We can't think like that," Kaito replied, trying to mask his own anxiety. "We have to believe we can change things. We have to fight back."
As they reached the shrine, Kaito felt a chill run down his spine. The shrine stood tall and foreboding, its entrance adorned with spirals carved into the wood, as if warning them away. The atmosphere was heavy with the scent of damp earth and decay. A twisted tree grew beside it, its roots coiling around the base, further reinforcing the spiral motif.
"This is it," Shuichi said, his voice steady despite the palpable fear radiating from him. "This is where the cult performs their rituals. We need to be careful."
They stepped inside, the air growing colder as they crossed the threshold. Inside the shrine, the darkness seemed to press in from all sides, making it difficult to breathe. The walls were adorned with more spirals, each one more grotesque than the last, and the floor was littered with offerings—twisted, rotting fruits and remnants of past ceremonies.
"Stay close," Shuichi warned, pulling out the flashlight and illuminating the interior. The beam of light flickered across the walls, revealing more unsettling patterns that seemed to shift and writhe in the darkness.
As they moved deeper into the shrine, Kaito felt the whispers intensify, swirling around him like a tempest. He could almost hear them beckoning him, coaxing him to submit to their will. The temptation to give in was overwhelming, a seductive lullaby that promised peace but concealed unimaginable horrors.
"Don't listen to them!" Kirie shouted, snapping him out of his reverie. "Stay focused!"
Kaito shook his head, trying to dispel the dark thoughts that threatened to consume him. "Right. We need to find the heart of this place."
Suddenly, they heard a noise—an eerie, low chanting emanating from deeper within the shrine. Kaito's heart raced as they exchanged worried glances. The spirals were alive here, pulsing with energy, drawing them closer to whatever darkness lay at the center.
As they moved toward the sound, Kaito felt the energy shift again, a palpable tension coiling around them. The chanting grew louder, echoing off the walls, creating a rhythm that resonated with the very core of his being.
They entered a large chamber at the heart of the shrine. A circular altar sat in the center, surrounded by a ring of flickering candles that cast grotesque shadows against the spiraled walls. Atop the altar lay a stone idol shaped like a spiral, its surface slick with darkened offerings. Around the altar, figures draped in tattered robes stood in a circle, their heads bowed as they chanted in unison.
Kaito's breath hitched as he realized these were the cultists—the remnants of those who had succumbed to the spiral's influence. They were no longer human; their bodies were contorted, twisted into shapes that mirrored the spirals they worshipped. Panic surged within him as he felt the air grow thick with a heavy energy, suffocating in its intensity.
"Are they…?" Kirie whispered, her voice trembling.
"Yes," Shuichi replied, his face pale. "They're lost to the spiral. We have to be careful."
As Kaito watched, the cultists continued their chanting, their voices blending into a singular, haunting melody that resonated through the chamber. The stone idol began to glow, a sickly green light emanating from its center, pulsing in time with the rhythm of the chanting.
"We need to stop them," Kaito said, his voice barely a whisper. "We can't let this continue."
Shuichi nodded, determination replacing his fear. "If we disrupt the ritual, it might weaken the spiral's hold over the town."
With a deep breath, Kaito stepped forward, the shadows shifting around him. The cultists' chanting intensified, their heads snapping up to face him, eyes filled with a hollow madness. Kaito felt a wave of despair wash over him as their gazes bore into his soul.
"Stop!" Kaito shouted, his voice breaking through the chant. "You don't have to do this! You can fight the spiral!"
The cultists hesitated, confusion flickering in their vacant expressions. For a moment, the chanting faltered, the power of the spirals wavering.
"Join us," one of the cultists hissed, their voice low and hypnotic. "Embrace the spiral. It is the path to truth."
"No!" Kaito cried, forcing himself to step closer. "You're trapped in a nightmare. You can break free!"
The cultists recoiled as if Kaito's words had struck them. The glow from the idol flickered, the energy in the room shifting as Kaito's resolve ignited a spark of defiance within them.
"Listen to him!" Kirie shouted, stepping beside Kaito. "You don't have to succumb to this! We can fight together!"
The chanting faltered again, uncertainty creeping into the cultists' ranks. Kaito felt the weight of the spirals pressing down, but he pressed on, his heart pounding with determination.
"Together, we can break the cycle! We can free ourselves from this madness!"
The cultists looked at each other, whispers of doubt passing between them. Kaito could feel the tension in the air, the energy of the spirals shifting, flickering like a candle on the verge of being snuffed out.
But just as hope began to bloom, a powerful surge of energy erupted from the idol, engulfing the chamber in a blinding light. Kaito staggered back, the force pushing him against the wall as the cultists shrieked, their voices twisting into a cacophony of despair.
"No!" he shouted, desperation clawing at his throat. "We can't let it end like this!"
The spirals writhed, the energy coiling around Kaito, threatening to pull him into their depths. He felt the darkness closing in, the weight of despair wrapping around him like a shroud.
"Fight it!" Kirie's voice pierced through the chaos, pulling him back from the brink. "You can't give in!"
With a surge of will, Kaito focused on the light that flickered within him—a reminder of his purpose, a determination to defy the spiral's grasp. He reached out toward the cultists, his voice steady despite the overwhelming fear.
"Together! We can fight back against the spirals! We can find a way to break free!"
As he spoke, the light from the idol flickered, the spirals recoiling in response to Kaito's defiance. The cultists hesitated, their minds wrestling with the pull of the spirals against the flickering spark of hope ignited by Kaito's words.
But time was running out. The darkness began to close in again, the idol's light threatening to extinguish their last chance at salvation. With every ounce of strength he had left, Kaito surged forward, grasping the idol with both hands.
The spirals writhed violently, their energy crashing against him like waves against a shore. But Kaito held on, his heart pounding as he felt the connection between him and the spirals shift. He wouldn't let them win—not today.
"Together!" he yelled, summoning all his willpower. "We can break this curse!"
In that moment, a collective gasp erupted from the cultists, their eyes reflecting a glimmer of understanding. Kaito felt the light within him surge, intertwining with the flickering essence of the spirals. He was fighting back against the tide, battling against the darkness that threatened to consume them all.
The spiral's grip faltered, the energy shifting from oppressive to liberating. Kaito knew that this was the moment they had all been waiting for. The connection between him and the cultists deepened, and he felt the surge of their combined will pushing against the spirals' grasp. It was as if a tether had formed between them, binding their intentions together in a tapestry of defiance.
The idol pulsed beneath his hands, its sickly glow flickering like a dying star, struggling against the awakening resolve of those it had ensnared. Kaito could see it now—the spirals had a mind of their own, a ravenous entity that thrived on fear and despair, but he had ignited a spark of hope in the hearts of the cultists.
"Fight it!" Kaito urged, his voice echoing in the chamber. "Remember who you were before the spirals took hold! You are not alone! We can break free together!"
As his words reverberated through the air, a chorus of voices began to rise among the cultists, hesitant at first but gradually growing in strength. "We… can break free!" they chanted, their voices merging into a powerful wave that washed over the room.
The spirals recoiled, their energy flickering wildly as if sensing the shift in power. Kaito felt the idol tremble beneath his grip, the light intensifying with each word of resistance spoken by the cultists.
"Embrace the light!" Shuichi shouted, stepping forward to join Kaito. "We can reclaim our lives! We have the power to defy this curse!"
The chanting grew louder, a harmonious blend of voices resonating within the shrine. Kaito felt a rush of energy flowing through him, igniting a fire in his heart. It was a collective rebellion against the spiral's influence, a united front forged in defiance.
The idol began to crack, fissures spreading across its surface as the spirals writhed in desperation. The walls of the chamber echoed with the conflict, the air electric with the struggle between light and darkness. Kaito could see it—he could feel the spirals' hold beginning to weaken, their grip on the cultists slipping as their voices united in defiance.
"We will not succumb!" Kirie added, her voice fierce and unwavering. "We are stronger than this! We will reclaim our lives!"
Kaito focused all his energy on the idol, pouring his will into it as the light surged brighter. He could sense the spirals, their malevolence thrashing against the wave of hope crashing over them. With every ounce of strength he had, he pulled at the light, urging it to break free.
Suddenly, with a resounding crack, the idol shattered, the pieces scattering across the chamber. A blinding white light exploded from within, engulfing them all in its brilliance. The spirals screamed, their shrieks echoing through the air as the light consumed them, dispelling the darkness that had held Kurouzu-cho in its grip for so long.
Kaito closed his eyes, allowing the light to wash over him. He felt a profound sense of release as the spirals dissolved into nothingness, their influence shattered by their collective will. The oppressive weight that had suffocated them lifted, leaving behind a sense of clarity and peace.
When the light finally faded, Kaito opened his eyes to find the shrine transformed. The walls, once covered in grotesque spirals, now stood bare and clean, the air filled with a serene silence. The cultists, no longer twisted figures of despair, stood in a circle, their faces illuminated by the soft glow of the candles that flickered in the aftermath.
"What just happened?" one of the cultists murmured, confusion written across his face.
"You fought back," Shuichi replied, a smile breaking across his face. "You all fought back against the spirals!"
"We're free?" another voice asked, disbelief lacing the question.
Kaito stepped forward, feeling the weight of their collective victory settling around him like a warm embrace. "Yes! We've broken the curse together. You have the strength to choose your own path now."
Tears glistened in some of the cultists' eyes as they began to grasp the reality of their liberation. They exchanged incredulous glances, smiles spreading among them as the remnants of their past darkness faded into memory.
"Thank you," one of the cultists said, stepping forward to clasp Kaito's hand. "Thank you for reminding us of who we are."
Kaito's heart swelled with pride and relief. They had faced the spirals and emerged victorious, a testament to the power of hope and unity. Together, they had reclaimed their lives, stepping out from the shadows of despair and into the light of a new beginning.
As they made their way out of the shrine, Kaito turned to Kirie and Shuichi, a sense of gratitude filling him. "We did it. We really did it."
Kirie beamed, her eyes shining with joy. "I knew we could! You were amazing back there, Kaito."
"Yeah," Shuichi added, clapping Kaito on the back. "You brought them back. You brought us all back."
As they stepped out of the shrine and into the open air, Kaito felt a sense of renewal wash over him. The spirals were gone, but the memories of their struggle would remain—a reminder of the strength they had discovered within themselves and each other.
Outside, the sun shone brightly, casting away the shadows that had clung to Kurouzu-cho for so long. The town felt alive again, the whispers of despair replaced by the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant laughter of children playing.
"Now what?" Kirie asked, looking at the horizon.
"We rebuild," Kaito replied, a sense of determination settling within him. "We help the town heal and ensure that the spirals never return."
Shuichi nodded in agreement. "We'll need to gather everyone, share what we've learned, and find ways to protect ourselves."
Together, they began walking back into town, ready to face the challenges ahead. As they moved forward, Kaito couldn't shake the feeling that their journey was just beginning. They had defeated the darkness, but it was their responsibility to ensure that light would always prevail.
And as they walked, Kaito knew that he was no longer just a boy caught in a web of spirals; he was a beacon of hope, a reminder that even in the depths of despair, the light of friendship and unity could guide them to freedom.
