Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

The young boy shivered in his sleep waking his elder brother. Nevil looked at his brother worriedly. As he saw his brother might be waking up he got up from bed and left the room even when he should be there for his brother.

After reaching the living room where his father sat in deep thought he called out "Father!...". When he didn't get any response he walked up to his father and placed a hand on his shoulder gently, where his father sat in deep thought, and he called out, "Father!... " When he didn't get a response, he walked up to his father and placed a hand on his shoulder gently so as not to startle the middle-aged manner so as not to startle the middle-aged man.

Mr Damian flinched a little at his son's gentle touch and looked back at him. Nevil informed his father, "Father, Draco might be waking up." Mr Damian quickly rushed into the room, not noticing that his elder son wasn't following him. Instead, he walked into his room. Nevil sat on the edge of his bed, hugging his knees.

He buried his face in his knees, his body shaking with terror. He didn't cry nor did he shed any tears, he just sat in deep thoughts. Three days passed Mr Damian was worried as Nevil kept on avoiding any kind of interaction with Draco.

Even when Draco sought his attention, Draco desperately wanted to see his brother after waking up. But no matter what Mr Damian said or no matter how much Draco cried Nevil just never agreed to face him. It might not have affected Nevil that much, but Draco seemed to doubt his existence. Was he that unapproachable, was he that unbearable was he.

At the dining table, as the three of them sat to eat, Nevil finished his meal quickly and disappeared into his room in just a few moments. Draco quietly looked as his brother desperately avoided him. He scoffed in disbelief and looked at the closed door of his brother's bedroom.

Mr Damian bit the inside of his cheek as he wasn't able to convince Nevil to spend time with Draco. Even when Draco needed his brother's time, attention, and care. As the morning light hit Draco's face he slowly opened his eyes processing to see clearly. But before he could fully shake off his sleep he was yanked away from his bed by so much force. He felt a sudden pain in his head, he looked up and saw the person, and the sight left him in shock.

Mrs Damian stood tall and composed in a perfectly tailored navy blue power suit, her hair tied into a perfect bun even in the early morning. She had just returned from her business trip, A subtle pearl necklace adds a touch of elegance. Before Draco could say anything he was dragged out into the living room, as he was dragged away he softly whined "Mom! It hurts a little".

When they reached the living room there he saw his father and brother standing at alert even before him. He stood beside his brother in the same position as his brother stood. "Hmm, so when I was away you three thought of making your lives hell?" Mrs Damian asked as she crossed her arms over her chest. She walked back and forth her heel clacking on the wooden floor, the man and two young boys stood there facing the ground at the loss of words.

Mrs Damian took a deep breath suppressing her frustration as they remained silent. Mr Damian brought his hand up to hold her arm but was startled by the loud slamming of her hand on the table. "Mr husband I would like to hear all about why my little son is in that state?" She shut her eyes close trying to maintain her calm.

Mr Damian who had been calm and firm all the time felt shivers all over his body "Honey! It was an a-accident" he tried to explain shutteringly. Mrs Damian quickly opened her eyes glaring right into Mr Damian's eyes "Don't lie Mr husband you know if I find out on my own what will happen then".

Mr. Damian gulped dryly, she looked at her both sons, the younger boy seemed tired he was going pale. She said in a softer tone than before "Nevil honey! Why don't you take your brother to the room and rest for now?". The older boy nodded and led his brother to his room, once reaching the room he laid down his brother on the bed pulling over the sheets to the boy's neck.

As Nevil was about to leave the room he felt a cold hand grab his wrist, he looked back to see the young boy in a cold sweat squirming in pain. Draco's vision blurry as he held his brother's hand tightly he didn't want to be left alone. He was scared, he was in pain and he needed his brother's attention nothing else.

Nevil sighed softly as he wasn't able to leave his brother alone not in this state, he sat in the middle of the bed beside the lying boy. Meanwhile, in the living room, Mr Damian explained everything to their mother, she felt helpless it was okay to the point Draco got hurt but his brother's behavior didn't make any sense.

Even if Nevil blamed it on himself that Draco fell he still wasn't doing right to avoid the innocent little boy. Draco would never blame his brother for anything Nevil would never do anything to Draco. Mrs Damian looked towards her son's room her expression worried as she sighed and looked at Mr Damian who was as well looking the same way.

"I think the time has come, I was warned by the knight of knowledge just three days ago", Mr. Damian said as he rested his elbows on his knees and intertwined his fingers with each other. Mrs Damian nodded in agreement "I suppose there is only one way to bring Nevil back on the track" she said in seriousness.

Mr Damian looked up his expression slightly concerned "Well I am concerned about Nevil's mind at the very least" he explained. Mrs Damian looked at him in a little annoyance "Do you think we have the luxury to think like that, I don't think we have any other choice!" Her tone was strict. Mr Damian sighed and hummed in agreement.
