"How well do you know about the One Creator?"
"Im afraid not much."
"Perfect. We will be here all day, so I suggest you take a seat."
"Before the "Beginning," there was- no. It was just It. A "being" that can't be nor ever was a being. In our religions and myths across the world, it's been called many things like, "The Brahma" or "The Dao," for it cannot be named or categorized as it is beyond such a thing. Here, we call it "Kami." Or just "God" as a placeholder. It was beyond what defined reality. Existence and Nonexistence didn't apply to "It." The concepts that make up all Creation, can't be applied to something that is and was beyond distinction. To describe "Kami" is meaningless as all things are "Kami."
"But to be all things is to be perfection no?"
"No."
"All things can't be described in their true nature, if it can even be called a nature. What we perceive in our everyday lives are just what we can comprehend. In actuality, all things have no meaning, and are beyond it, as is "Kami."
They had always existed as, The Sea of Nothingness. Only the ineffable light that that surrounded Kami, accompanied and lit up the infinite darkness that was The Sea of Nothingness.
It was then their light created and shaped existence, starting with the concepts that shaped it.
Time. The first concept to ever grace our universe and give motion to all things.
Space. The second concept that encompassed the universe and it's dimensions, that allowed existence to exist.
Chaos. The third concept that allowed the destruction and the creation of everything. As well as causing disorder across the cosmos.
Life. Also called Nature it was the fourth concept to grace the universe, giving form to principles and laws.
Death. The fifth concept to be created. All living things must come to an end.
The light would then create other concepts that fell below the original five that were created.
Physics, math, knowledge, civilization, and many more.
All men, all gods, and all things were just mere emanations of such a being, if it can even be called one.
However, the universe was like a book with no end. The concept of Death was not The End that was imposed onto the universe, so a final being was created that literally meant the final ending of all things.
Many people from different worlds call it, The Goddess.
She was what kept Existence in balance and protected from influence of the Eldritch Outer Gods that preside beyond it. These Eldritch Abominations were the results of the many failed creations that had no meaning, with the goal of destroying all that exist.
They feared The Goddess even in her presence, and saying her true name would eradicate them all. The Goddess is the Finality of all existence and nonexistence and even those who existed beyond the two for even she is beyond it.
That was until several millennia had passed.
She had disappeared with unknown reason.
Her disappearence caused existence to become imbalanced, creating monsters called Kaijus that destroyed worlds.
But now that The Goddess has disappeared, the Eldritch Outer Gods had free reign over Existence.
Or did they?
Gods and legendary individuals from the many religions and mythologies had the power of Kami. They were called Godheads, as having a piece of Kami in them granted them insurmountable power.
All they needed to do was to keep the Outer Gods at bay until He appears.
