Was it the fact that I had talked to myself, and finally been honest with myself about the fact that I want Genevieve to be mine? Or the fact that I was no more shying away from a relationship I desperately wanted.
Whatever the reason, I was happy.
The children were going to finally see the home I had gotten for us, and the place where their birthday celebration will take place although they had no idea about that seeing as it had to be a surprise.
What made me happy, was the fact that I was with my family, Genevieve included. It took everything within me not to ask her for a date because she was obviously serious about the friends thing.
Sometimes, she was just there, or slightly friendly as if she was being careful of whatever she was doing when it concerned me. It worried me, but there was nothing I could do asides hope she would want me again soon.
