The Sunday brunch came so fast, I was wishing I had a time stopping machine. I was looking forward to it, but also dreading it at the same time. I suggested picking up Genevieve and the kids since we were both going to the same place, and because if I go with them, I had some morale.
The kids were happy we were going together, and talked through out. They told me about their cousins that they would see. They also told me about their uncles. I smiled and replied when I had to. The moment we were in front of thier grandparents house, we all come out of the car to go inside the house.
"What is the family brunch all about?" I ask Genevieve.
"Well, we stay through out, and go in the night. We eat, and catch up. But for you, it will be an interrogatory and observatory day. My brothers will be around and all that. You have met Giovanni though so, you will have to meet Garett today," she says.
I internally sigh.
