"I would like to go to Mars."
Mr. Jefferson nods and asks Godfrey to follow him. They exit the humble office and enter what looks to be a highly advanced tailor shop. Godfrey looks around and sees fantastic suits waiting to be collected. Mr Jefferson places a hand on Godfrey's shoulders and speaks.
"According to our records, you've spent the past year training and refining your abilities. That is a commendable discipline you wield. I think, however, that you have forgotten about your hero suit hahaha."
Godfrey's eyes widen as he remembers that he hasn't yet commissioned a suit. Just then, a middle aged woman exits from the staff room and loudly greets Mr. Jefferson.
"AH! Davis, how are you old man?! My, you look even older than the last time I saw you!"
Mr. Jefferson deadpans at the woman and massages his head.
"You saw me yesterday Genevieve."
Genevieve slaps her knee as she bends over in laughter.
"HAHAHA I know!! Isn't it crazy what one day can change??!!"
Godfrey merely stares at the duo as Mr. Jefferson joins in the laughter and hugs her tenderly.
'Ah I see.'
Mr. Jefferson smiles at Godfrey and introduces Genevieve.
"Godfrey, this is my wife Genevieve. She is renowned throughout the alliance as the greatest tailor to have ever been born."
Genevieve slaps Mr. Jefferson's chest softly and shyly whispers.
"Stop flattering me Davis! It's embarrassing."
Mr. Jefferson laughs and gets straight to the point.
"Honey, Mr. Godfrey here would like a suit made. Please provide him with top of the line service."
Genevieve's eyes widen at the mention of "top of the line". She nods solemnly and motions for them to follow her.
They enter a moderately sized room filled to the brim with cutting edge technology. Mr. Jefferson gives Genevieve a tablet containing Godfrey's biometric data and her eyes go wide in shock.
"Good God, I knew you were strong but this is ridiculous. I'll need to use materials that can withstand even a single full powered blow from you and not vanish."
Godfrey scratches his head and is confused.
'There are surely other individuals, like my father, who need similar materials?'
Genevieve sees the look on Godfrey's face and chuckles as she answers his unasked question. She tidies up and prepares the workshop.
"Other super strength heroes are easy. Just make the material tough and stretchy. Usually it'd be fine. We have to make yours heat resistant, tear resistant, explosive resistant, friction proof, flexible, and tough. No one has quite a diverse powerset as you do."
Genevieve places a box on a table and proudly looks at Godfrey.
"Luckily for you, I created a material that has all those features and more. Before we begin, could you describe what you want your suit to look like?"
Godfrey nods and speaks of the features in his suit.
"I want a mainly white suit with golden accents. Gold plated pauldrons, vambraces, and a belt."
He draws the suit on a large piece of paper and Genevieve appreciates the effort put into making it good. She looks at the suit and comments on it.
"Good looking suit. The pauldrons, vambraces, and belt will obviously not be made with gold. Your lightning would melt it faster than you could say "Davis". Let's see what I can cook up. Give me an hour and I'll have your suit."
Genevieve shoos Godfrey and her husband out of the workshop as she gets to work. Mr. Jefferson looks dreamily at the door and sighs.
"My goodness, that's my woman."
Godfrey looks around in awkwardness and decides to meditate to pass the time. He sits on the floor and lets the lightning pour into his cells. An hour quickly passes and Godfrey checks the state of his cells.
'44% not bad.'
The door of the workshop suddenly flies open and Genevieve beams in pride.
"Hahaha this is the best suit I've made yet!!"
She passes it to Godfrey and he regards the suit with a heat in his eyes.
'This looks...incredible. I must wear it now.'
With a burst of super speed, Godfrey zooms to the washroom and reappears wearing the suit. Mr. Jefferson looks at the entire suit and can't help but whistle.
"Wheeew, you've outdone yourself my dear."
Genevieve laughs and rubs her hands together.
"The suit is a masterpiece, it has all the previously mentioned resistances and can regenerate any damage. That's freaking awesome is it not??!! The best thing in my opinion? It has pockets!! It's only enough to hold a mini space storage, but that's already a lot of space!!"
Godfrey thanks Genevieve with all the gratitude he can muster. She waves it off and laughs as she heads back into the shop to sleep.
Mr. Jefferson then opens a portal and beckons.
"It is time Godfrey."
Godfrey nods as they step into the portal and arrive at the teleportation hub. Godfrey stares at the back of Mr. Jefferson's head as he thought they'd be going there immediately. Mr. Jefferson coughs a little in shame.
"Ehem. The distance is too far for me. The teleportation hub is more efficient. Can you give your pass to the operator?"
The pass is placed on the terminal and the stage flares to life. The duo step onto it and are immediately transported far away.
*WOOOOOOOOOOP-BONG*
Godfrey ignores the weird sound and finds himself being able to stare at the space around him. Pure white dominates his vision as they pass through a different dimension as a beam of light. Godfrey looks around but still sees nothing and then a whisper silently blows into Godfrey's ear.
'WHAT?!?!'
Godfrey tries to find the source of that whisper but they abruptly appear in another room. Mr. Jefferson sees Godfrey's daze and attributes it to the long teleportation. Godfrey asks Mr. Jefferson if he heard a whisper and Mr. Jefferson only laughs as he replies.
"Hahaha everyone has heard it my boy. It is attributed to the sound of the teleportation machine as we near Mars. Come, let's go."
They both step out of the teleportation room and Godfrey is in awe of what he sees. They are within a gigantic domed structure that shows space in all its glory. A city is on Mars and nobody knows it.
Families of different races walk to and fro. They move about unimpeded, as if seeing other races is completely normal.
Hovercars and transport trucks dot the airspace, young people in superhero costumes look at Godfrey and are in awe of his suit.
Godfrey is shocked. He expected a small settlement, not a spiralling metropolis.
Mr. Jefferson guides Godfrey to what seems to be a replica of the Ascension Academy. The only difference being that the campus grounds seem to be sparsely populated.
'That would make sense, but what were those beings out there? I have never seen anything like them before.'
Mr Jefferson brings Godfrey out of his speculative thoughts by placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I know you have questions my boy, and they will be answered once classes begin tmr. For now, I'll take you to your dorm room and you will be free to explore the facilities."
After walking for 5 minutes, they arrive at the dorms. Mr. Jefferson the bids his goodbyes and allows Godfrey to unpack his luggage.
Godfrey removes his mini space storage from his pocket, and laughs as he thinks back to a humourous situation early this morning.
FLASHBACK
.
.
.
"Wuuuuu my boy is going to leave!!!! Why did he have to grow so quicky? Why did the years pass by so fast??"
Ambrose is currently sobbing as he helps Godfrey pack his luggage bag.
"Protein powder, check. Workout clothes, check. Tablet, check. Textbooks, check. Parents? No check. Wuuuuuu."
Calanthe is currently also sobbing as she tries to crush Godfrey in a bear hug.
"Wuuuuu, this day came too fast!! We won't be able to see you until you have to do your final exams here. Even then, you'll have to go back to Mars the day after you finish!!"
Godfrey smiles and tries to reassure his parents.
"We shall make sure to spend the day as a family. I will do my best to make you both proud."
Ambrose runs to Calanthe, and Ambrose and lifts his wife and son up. Both parents, as if connected, say at the same time.
"You already have, wuuuuu."
After crying for a little while, Godfrey's luggage is stored into a mini storage space. It is sleek, has a thickness of 0.25 cm, and is so durable that even a bomb will have a hard time damaging it. He scans the internals of the device and sees that it is almost entirely made of a pulsating metal.
Godfrey was fascinated when he first laid eyes upon it and his parents apologised for their lack of foresight.
"We're really sorry Godfrey, your mother and I don't really like using technology so we didn't expose you to the different conveniences that it provides. Hopefully someone will be able to give you an explanation for any devices you might find confusing."
Godfrey merely nods as he fiddles with the device. He places it into his pocket and bids farewell to his sobbing parents.
"Mother, Father, I am off."

END FLASHBACK
.
.
Godfrey presses a button on the storage device and his luggage bag appears.
'Useful.'
He unpacks and organizes his things, then decides to check the improved facilities on Mars. The layout of the school is the same and so he easily finds the teleportation hub. There isn't an operator so Godfrey does the process himself. He teleports to the gravity room and is immediately greeted by the sounds of combat.
Godfrey steps out of the teleportation room and enters the gravity room. He looks upwards and sees two figures clashing. He elects to ignore them for now and test his physical capabilities once more.
1 hour later
He opens his Biometrics Tablet and checks the result.
