A man looks out onto a desolate battlefield and takes a deep remorseful breath. He looks down at a massive crater with a broken spear stabbed into the ground. Anger fills his heart, but drains away when a female voice speaks from behind him.
"It was weird what happened that day."
Godfrey turns around and nods for Valka to continue. She summons a chair of light for both of them and speaks as she sits.
"You pointed Bex'Gar, who turned out to be that demon that you have imprisoned, and summoned a lightning bolt between yourself and the charging army."
The dragoness crosses her arms and frowns as she continues.
"When the dust settled, you were trapped in a ruby dome of demonic energy, and we knew something was wrong. What happened in there?"
Godfrey takes a seat and lets out a deep sigh. Silence ensues and Valka patiently waits. After a few minutes, Godfrey summons a lightning bolt into his hand and forms a figure of a woman.
