"Your friend's dad?" Emily asked. And totally unaware. Junior had met Liam before and he recognized him.
"Yes, her dad comes to pick her up from school sometimes. His dad is my friend my too."
"Oh, my God."
"I like him. He is very nice to me and Olivia too. Olivia is lucky she has such a father. Her daddy has many cars and they are all beautiful. I specifically like the black one he drives most." Junior continued, going on to give perfect description of Liam's favorite car.
Emily felt her heart nearly stopped in her chest as she listens to her son continued to speak highly about Liam and his cars. As little as he was, junior had always loved cars.
So much for keeping him away from Liam. What sort of coincidence was this? How could it be that Liam's daughter attended the same school that she had chosen for her son to attend?
