One thing was sure though, and that was that he had fallen into wrong hands … very wrong ones in that matter. He had to do something though, as he could not just sit there and wait for whatever was going to happen to happen, so he began to try to get on his feet.
However, Liam was too lightheaded to perform such feat, so the minute could get on his launches, and get halfway up, his knees buckled, gave way and he face-planted on to the dirty floor, the breath knocked out of him in a dirty whoosh.
White hot pain radiated through his entire being, including his face and he groaned out loud, gritting his teeth. He wasn't exactly sure, but he thought that he felt his nose break.
As soon as he raised his head and felt the blood trickling from his nose, he realized that he was right. Great! That was just what he needed.
