In midair, Kaizen had no room to dodge.
After being hit twice in rapid succession, the young man collapsed to the ground, unable to continue fighting. His body was battered, and the severity of his injuries was clear.
Kaizen motioned for help from outside the ring.
Immediately, skilled attendants rushed in to provide treatment to the fallen youth.
Kaizen turned his gaze toward the other butlers standing by the arena.
"Next," he ordered calmly.
To be honest, the match had disappointed him. He had expected something more intense, more challenging. Yet the difference in strength between himself and his opponent was too glaring.
Even though both of them were D-level Nen users, the gap was undeniable.
So this is the extent of their abilities...
Even without the youth falling into the explosive trap set by the Killer Queen, there was no chance he could have won.
It seems I'm stronger than I expected, Kaizen thought, a flicker of curiosity passing through his mind.
A new butler stepped into the ring.
This one looked older, more composed, with the steady presence of someone used to battle. An Enhancer-type Nen user, he radiated confidence.
Having witnessed Kaizen's previous fight, the butler didn't rush in recklessly. He stayed cautious, circling the Killer Queen, analyzing Kaizen from the corner of his eye.
But as the fight progressed, the butler began to sense something was off.
Despite his skill and experience, he found himself struggling against the Killer Queen.
This doesn't make sense.
Everyone had assumed that the young butler in the previous fight lost due to Kaizen's aura bombs assisting the Killer Queen. But this new butler, an Enhancer who specialized in combat, was still at a disadvantage.
How could a Nen Beast be this powerful?
From a vantage point above the arena, two figures observed the fight below.
"What do you think?" Zeno asked, his eyes locked on the scene.
Silva Zoldyck, standing beside him, folded his arms.
"Kaizen only began learning Nen a month ago," Silva murmured, thoughtful.
"And in that time, he's developed three techniques: the aura bomb, the Nen Beast, and explosion-triggered attacks."
Zeno nodded slowly. "It's not unusual to learn flashy techniques early on. But..."
He narrowed his eyes at the Killer Queen.
"It's rare to see a Nen Beast reach this level of strength—especially not an autonomous one. The precision and speed it displays are on par with top-level Enhancer techniques. And it's not just the raw strength—there's skill behind every move. This spirit beast fights as if it has seen countless battles."
Silva's gaze darkened slightly. "That alone is impressive. The Killer Queen's strength is equivalent to a D-level Enhancer's... but its explosive abilities are clearly the work of a Conjurer."
He exhaled sharply. "The fact that Kaizen could develop such refined techniques so quickly is... unsettling. Even I couldn't do that back in the day."
Meanwhile, in the arena, the butler realized he couldn't afford to hold back.
Forget studying his abilities.
He adjusted his stance. His focus shifted—defeating the Nen Beast became his sole priority.
"If I can't beat Kaizen, I'll at least take down that beast," the butler muttered under his breath.
"Half-Step Collapse Fist!"
With a surge of aura, the butler concentrated immense energy into his fist, channeling all his power into a single, undodgeable strike.
In an instant, he closed the distance between himself and the Killer Queen.
BOOM!
The attack landed directly on the Killer Queen's abdomen, creating a massive dent in its body.
For a brief moment, it seemed the butler had succeeded.
But then...
The Killer Queen shimmered as a fresh wave of aura surged through it. The damage to its body began to repair itself at a speed visible to the naked eye.
What?!
The butler's eyes widened in disbelief.
The Killer Queen wasn't a living being—it was a manifestation of aura. As long as Kaizen fed it enough energy, it could recover from almost any injury.
Before the butler could react, the Killer Queen lashed out with a sudden knee strike.
CRACK!
The butler was launched backward, crashing into the ground outside the ring.
Victory had been decided.
Silva watched the scene unfold in silence, a faint frown crossing his face.
"Kaizen's temperament is... remarkable," Silva muttered. "When I first met him, I noticed right away that few people in his generation have his kind of presence. But now... his growth rate is astounding."
He glanced at Zeno. "The power he displayed here—this is far beyond what he had the last time I saw him."
Zeno gave a small nod of agreement.
"Indeed."
There was a brief pause before Zeno added, "Kaizen's planning to visit Heavens Arena next. I'll accompany him personally. If any missions come up that fit the family's needs, send them my way. I'll manage things from there."
Silva blinked in surprise at his son's words but eventually nodded.
"All right."
The third butler stepped into the ring.
This one carried an even heavier presence—more experienced, more dangerous. His aura was distinct.
He was a Specialist.
