Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Arrival And Mansion

"It Is Done, Many Different Possibilities, Multiple Ways and There Still Isn't a Way to End It I Wonder Who It Is That Think It's Funny?"

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting golden hues over the island, the students disembarked from the ship, their laughter mingling with the sound of the waves. "Hello Everyone" Lyra called out, a smile lighting up her face. Intro: (Name: Lyra Er-so, Age: 17, Origin: Heir to an Aristocratic Family, Talent: Singing). Sebastian smirked, leaning against a crate. "Looks like the nice girl is here" Intro: (Name: Sebastian Vale, Age: 17, Origin: Heir to the 'VALE FASHION INDUSTRIES' Talent: Playboy). "Yeah always acting nice towards everyone" Harrison added adjusting his sunglasses. Intro: (Name: Harrison Greenleaf, Age: 17, Origin: Son of World Best Influencer, Talent: Acting). "Honestly, girls like that are really the worst. They act all cutesy and nice but deep down They really don't mean anything they say" Williams chimed in trying to act cool. Intro: (Name: William Winters, Age: 17, Origin: Son of the Prime Minister, Talent: The Archive). Ren grinning. "SERIOUSLY! Would You Stop? You're All Just Mad Because She Rejected the Player." Intro: (Name: Ren Ashford, Age: Apparently 17, Origin: Normal??? Talent: Lazy!). They looks at Ren in disgust. As the group began to unpack their bags, the island loomed around them, filled with secrets yet to be uncovered.

"Seriously that transfer student annoys the hell out of me." Says Sebastian, "Yeah he should know his place" added William, starring daggers at Ren. "Hey guys, maybe we should play a prank on the girls when we get to the mansion" Harrison added. "Yeah" all giggling.

As the group approaches the mansion, the fog already in the forest suddenly becomes thicker, as they walk through the fog, they suddenly finds themselves standing before a tall, ornate wrought-iron fence, its intricate designs partially obscured by creeping vines. The heavy front gate slightly ajar, groans softly as if welcoming them into its domain. The air is thick with an unsettling stillness, and occasional rustle of leaves sends shivers down their spines. Before they could push open the gate, the gate suddenly opens on its own as if trying to invite them in, the gate creaks loudly, echoing through the quiet forest. A chill runs through the air, accompanied by distant, eerie sounds.

They step onto the winding path, flanked by wildflowers that sway gently, as if beckoning them closer. The mansion looms ahead, its grand structure partially hidden by the foliage. As they reach the imposing front door, they pause glancing at each other with nervous anticipation.

As they stood before the mansion, a sense of trepidation settled in their hearts, making them hesitate to step forward. Suddenly, the door swings open on its own with a soft creak, revealing a maid standing inside. She wears a warm smile that contrasts with the mansion's eerie ambiance. "Welcome, dear guests," she says, her voice inviting yet tinged with mystery.

"I am Anna, we've been expecting you. Please come inside." Standing there was a beautiful young girl with silky, long black hair befitting royalty. "Wait are you telling me she's a maid? She looks like a princess playing dress up" said Lucas. Intro: (Name: Lucas Rossington, Age: 17, Origin: heir to the Rossi conglomerate, Talent: Negotiation). Anna looks at smirking. "We've been expecting you, she says." Says Marcella with a mocking kind of pissed warm smile. "I'M SORRY WE? DIDN'T YOU SAY THERE WAS GONNA BE ONLY A MAID HERE GREENLEAF? SO WHO'S THIS WE SHE'S TALKING ABOUT" Marcella raised her voice looking pissed. Intro: (Name: Marcella De Santos, Age: 16 Origin: The Spoiled daughter of Police Chief General, Talent: Spoiled). "Don't ask me, listen Marcy if there's one thing about social media it's all full of rumors so you can't just believe all it says" says Harry trying to look like an expert. "Well duh!" mutters Marcy. "Well then if you don't mind, please come on in" Anna says politely. Just before they entered Harrison spots someone looking down at them through one of the windows of the mansion.

They walk into the mansion with trepidation in their hearts, well I think they did, huh! I think? Wait should I be aware of what's happening? Seriously that's such a bad writing, you can't just go letting the narrator have a conscious of his own. "Who said you have a conscious" wait a minute who said that? Says me surprised one of the students knows they're in a story. "Who said I was in a story? I am the story" OKAY SHOULDN'T THE NARRATOR, I DON'T KNOW LIKE KNOW WHO IS TALKING? Hmm, well while I was arguing with God knows who everything was going on without a hitch. Everyone already unpacked and now they're going to their shared rooms.

As Ren tossed his bag onto the bed, William stood at the door, visibly irritated.

"Why… out of everyone here, did I get stuck with you?" William grumbled, his brows furrowing. "Do you have any idea how embarrassing this is for me?"

Ren smirked, reclining back with an air of casual indifference. Embarrassing, huh? "Oh, I get it, loud and clear. But hey, think of it as an opportunity to expand your social horizons. Get to know someone from the, you know… 'Lesser side' of things."

William shot him a sharp glare. "Yeah, because that's what I'm here for. Enlightenment from a transfer student with zero status."

"Ah, so you have noticed my charming lack of prestige." Ren's tone dripped with sarcasm. "Guess I'm the luckiest guy here, getting to 'humble' the Prime Minister's son."

Ren chuckled, leaning back further. "Sure, whatever you say roomie. But don't get too attached. I might disappear one night, like a ghost." He gave an exaggerated spooky gesture with his hands.

"Better a ghost than you," William shot back, his annoyance only growing.

And just as Ren opened his mouth to throw another sarcastic remark, a piercing scream echoed through the hallway, cutting through their tension like a knife. Both froze, the sound sending a chill down their spines.

"What was that?" William whispered, eyes opened.

Ren's smirked vanished, replaced by a seriousness that even surprised himself.

"Guess we're about to find out."

 Chapter Ends.
