Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Fang Shung abducted

Fang Sheng sat cross-legged on her bed, her gaze fixed and determined. She relentlessly battered her primeval sea against the aperture wall, hell-bent on breaking through. In mere hours, she had shattered the limits of rank 1 and now stood on the precipice of ascending to rank 2. But her ambitions soared even higher - she dreamed of reaching rank 4 or beyond. With her Supreme Body granting her prodigious talent, time was her ally.

Within her aperture, dark green primeval essence swirled, but at its core pulsed a pool of pitch-black Chaos Essence. Awakening her aperture had caused the Chaos Dao Marks within to surge, producing Chaos Essence at an astonishing rate. The aperture walls groaned under the strain, on the verge of collapse.

Crack. Crack.

The sound of fissures forming echoed as she unleashed another torrent of primeval essence. Yet, the walls held firm. "Hmmm?" she mused, undeterred. Another wave followed, then another, each attempt thwarted. Frustration mounting, time slipping away.

"What's wrong!?" she demanded, irritation flaring. In a flash of insight, she decided to test a drop of Chaos Essence. The black speck met the transparent wall, and to her satisfaction, it began to erode, staining a section black like ink on paper. With renewed vigor, she directed a wave of primeval essence, and the ink-stained wall crumbled effortlessly.

Fang Sheng focused her energy, sending specks of Chaos Essence slamming against the white barrier surrounding her aperture. Powerful waves of dark green primeval essence followed, shattering more than 60% of the wall. The remaining sections soon began to yield.

But just as victory was in reach, an invisible force crushed down upon her. "Urgh!" she grunted, feeling the overwhelming pressure

As the invisible force bore down on her, a commanding voice resonated through the room: "You were on the verge of breaking my seal over your aperture and the chaos within you, but not today."

In an instant, a Dragonman materialized before her, his dark jade body stark against the night. White hair, proud dark jade horns, smooth scales - he radiated an aura that demanded attention. Shilong Qiangwei.

Calmly, he approached Fang Sheng and gripped her shoulder with bone-crushing force. Her mind raced - what was happening?! Before she could process, he teleported them to a secluded grassland under a starry sky.

"W-What!?" she exclaimed, stumbling but catching herself as she surveyed the surroundings. Suddenly, a jolt of energy surged through her, causing agony to scream through her internal organs. Blood gushed from her eyes, ears, mouth, and nose.

"A-argh!" she stifled her cries, refusing to show weakness as she assessed her predicament.

Shilong stood a dozen paces away, a grand aura raging around him like a storm. Yet, there was an unmistakable tension - he felt foreign to the Heaven and Earth Qi of the Southern Border.

"You've caused me to lose face before my lord," he declared coldly. "Now, prepare to face the consequences."

What is this? What's happening!? Her mind screamed as She gazed at Shilong Qiangwei, who stood confidently before her. Panicked thoughts raced - she desperately tried to access her Rank 9 Attitude Gu, hoping to buy time to unseal her Withered Gu.

"You think I'm a fool?" Shilong scoffed, his dragon hand slicing through space to retrieve a golden pill which he promptly consumed. With heightened resistance, he unleashed a hypnotic wave of soul power that struck Fang Sheng's mind and soul, plunging her into a chaotic haze of incoherent thoughts and disorienting surroundings.

With heightened resistance, he unleashed a hypnotic wave of soul power that struck Fang Sheng's mind and soul, plunging her into a chaotic haze of incoherent thoughts and disorienting surroundings.

As Shilong Qiangwei's soul power assaulted her senses, Fang Sheng's thoughts scattered like leaves in a hurricane. Her mind blank, she stumbled, vulnerable and bruised from their previous altercation. Shilong stepped forward, his voice cold as steel. "Let us test your defenses."

His hand filled with potent Dao marks, and he aimed his razor-sharp claws directly at her head. Every muscle in Fang Sheng's body screamed in agony, begging for respite.

Before she could brace herself, Shilong's attack came with blinding speed. The impact sent shockwaves through her already tortured body. Bones shattered, pain ripping through her frame as she crumpled to the ground, defenseless and exposed.

Shilong loomed over her, triumph and satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. What now?, her disoriented mind whispered. The world spun around her, refusing to focus. She tried to move, but was overwhelmed. No... not like this...

No, no, no..., her thoughts screamed in panic, her mind slowly succumbing to oblivion. The headache intensified, drowning her in a sea of confusion and despair. She surrendered to the darkness, closing her eyes.

But the silence was short-lived. A deep red glow emanated from her eyes as they snapped open, now a piercing crimson. A powerful shockwave echoed through the air, sending Shilong reeling back.

Surprised yet unscathed, Shilong staggered backward, blood trickling down his forehead. He gazed at Fang Sheng's transformed figure, her eyes radiating a mechanical red glow, as if in fail-safe mode.

Suddenly, a burst of chaotic lightning struck Shilong, dealing significant damage. Despite his resistance, he was momentarily weakened by the chaos's might.

As the dust settled, an eerie silence fell over the battlefield. Shilong wiped the blood from his forehead, staring at Fang Sheng in a mix of rage and surprise. His pride wounded, he acknowledged the immense power of chaos - a force unlike any other, surpassing even the power of Heavenly Dao.

Fang Shung fought back using her Chaos Essence, but she was ultimately left as an AI-like entity. "Impressed I am, but not too much," she murmured before finally succumbing to the power of Shilong.

Nearby, in Shillong, a man in peculiar robes with white and emerald eyes appeared. Though merely a projection, he exhibited battle strength on par with a peak pseudo-venerable.

"My lord, what you wanted has been accomplished," he declared. "Her fail-safe had to be bypassed in the end, and we need her to connect to the Celestial Dao."

With that, both figures carried her and proceeded straight to the Obsidian Spire of Eternal Twilight.

On the 16th floor, Jian Feng threw Fang Shung's body to Zhi Xing Yao, who caught it. From Jian Feng's glance, she understood what needed to be done.

"Aww~, look at this mess of a body. The Dao marks are all harmful except for the chaos marks. Hmmm~." She examined the body carefully and then took it to her private chamber. There, she laid Fang Shung on the bed and scrutinized every part of her figure.

First, she slightly removed Fang Shung's robe and healed her internal and external injuries. "What a great body~," Zhi Xing Yao said, admiring Fang Shung's voluptuous form. She felt no envy; instead, she appreciated the girl's beauty.

"Do you want her to have her memories, my lord?" Zhi Xing Yao asked. Jian Feng shook his head. "No, heal her quickly."

Without wasting a second, Zhi Xing Yao instantly healed Fang Shung's body and presented her rejuvenated form to Jian Feng, who looked at her with intent.

"Now, let's begin the real difficult procedure, right?" Zhi Xing Yao asked.

"Yes."

Fang Shung's body was about to connect with both the Celestial Dao and the Heavenly Dao. This task was undeniably challenging, but these ancient beings knew what had to be done.

"Truly a mess of a body," Jian Feng remarked. "Such perfection in both soul and body, yet these harmful Dao marks are like ink splattered on a masterpiece."

He raised his hand above Fang Shung's head, and the room filled with strange lights and other phenomena. Numerous operations, both physical and soul-related, happen there for around 49 days.

**[Qingmao Mountain]**

"Lord, you just want me to stop and slow the time of this village to this low?" Anming said, there no negativity in his voice. He did what he was told to do.

His azure eyes surveyed the entire mountain and ultimately, he left a rank 7 Gu in the spirit spring of the mountain.

Hoping that maybe Fang Shung may gain much from this.

He wasn't going to back down, so much has happen already. The war with Heavenly Court was prominent. Only left in duration of a few years.

"Hope, just maybe we can win this war and maybe the rumored Transcended Immortal of rank 10 may even awaken.

Who knows?"
